**Cecil as narrator**
"As Leo the Champion had rightfully won the throne, it meant he had rightfully won the Power. But because Leo had, well cheated, Abnu decided it wasn't fair to the rest of the brothers. Abnu decided he would send you far away and have the brothers search for you."
"But since Leo the Champion had won, Abnu decided to do something in his favour. The Power would be able to transform into a lion when Leo was near and she would have the same markings as well, but if Lukus clan or Mikeytos found her first and mated with her, she would give them great power anyone could dream of, and in return they would let her transform into one of them."
Cecil paused, then look straight into Kiara's eyes.
"They would do anything for you. Even if it means killing one of their long lost brothers. They have been searching for you for generations." He added.
"How come I haven't heard much of Mikeytos clan, and why aren't they in this battle of Leo's n Thorns?" Kiara asked curious. Ryan called out a "Yeah" in agreement with Kiara.
"Well, uh..." Cecil started while placing a hand on his neck and began to rub, " well you see Mikeyto's clan used to be involved until the Great War sprung. It was the night Thorns father had taken the throne from Leo's father,that's when Mikeytos clan fell."
"There was four boys in that clan that were the rightful heir for their clan, but when the Great War sprung, they were slang in battle which then left no rightful heir to Mikeytos clan." Cecil told.
"So how come the girl ended up with that tittle?" Ryan asked puzzled. With a sign, Cecil continued.
"She was given that tittle since her four older brothers all died at the hands of Thorn or his farther since Thorn was on their territory and slaughtering all of them. And the girl goes by Yana."
"Since her brothers death she has chosen never to be with Thorn as a ally. That's why she has joined forces with Leo. But because of her choice to be Leo, Thorn keeps attacking her until she has no more and is forced to be with him. And unfortunately his plan is working." Cecil added.
"Oh." Both Kiara and Ryan said together.
"Well. Do you have anymore questions that need to be answered?" Cecil asked. When there was no reply he started to get up to leave, but a warm hand grabbed his wrist.
"How am I involved in this?" Kiara asked wonder.
"You are the Power. That's that." Cecil kept it short.
"No I mean, how was I born? And why do I have to mate with one of them?" Kiara asked almost pleading when Cecil just stared at her.
"Fine." Cecil muttered then sat back down.
"So. You weren't technically born. You were created. You were designed to die and be reborn, sort of like the legend of the phoenix." Cecil started off.
"The Phoenix? But I thought that was impossible." Ryan put in.
"Yeah, and you also thought that changing into a animal was impossible." Cecil said while glaring at Ryan as if he were the stupidest thing on the planet.
"Anyway, once you die you are reborn from your ashes. Well, as I am told. You see you are like no human being, once you die you come back to life and you grow up ten times faster because you must be ready for mating. And you are to always have a Guardian at your side, but it seems yours aren't."
This was a lot of things for Kiara to take in, but something stuck out more than the rest. Her Guardians.
"My Guardians, who are they?" Kiara pushed.
"They were your protectors. But it seems that yours were killed." Cecil answered calmly.
"Killed?" Ryan gasped.
"Yeah. Killed, but the problem is that no one knows who killed them." Cecil put in.
"Well didn't one of your kind do it? I mean you guys are the bad guys." Kiara pointed out.
With a low chuckle and Cecil shaking his head he managed to tell her and Ryan that no one knows what happened to them.
"But one of the few things I do know is that their death was no accident. It was cold blood murder." Cecil added.
But before anymore questions could be asked, a loud banging came from the door. As Cecil got up to open it, his father stood there with a black eye and other bruises on him.
"Don't you dare ask what happened." Andrew told the group with a death stare.
With a few nods, Andrew then continued for what he came here for.
"Kiara?" he asked.
"Yeah?" she replied a bit timid.
"Our King would like to have you in his presents." Andrew told her, but when she didn't move now from fright
He growled and continued, "King Thorn wants to see you alone. Now."
