Chapter 24: Sparks Fly

As Kiara made her way into the jet with Leo's arm wrapped around her waist she felt the same shivers of delight from before. But the problem was that she didn't want to feel happy in his embrace. He lied to her countless times and her body was trembling for him. She had tried to get away, but it was no use in his tight grip.

"Please stop." He pleaded in a hurtful weak voice. Hearing him this way made her whimper that just certain actions could cause him pain.

When they made their way to their seating area Leo made sure Kiara was at least in front of him. She didn't dare look at him though.

"You are stubborn aren't you?" he asked with a little humour and a sexy grin.

"I guess, but it's kinda hard not to be when someone you trusted--- even though I just met them--- has been telling you lies." She paused and looked up into his sorrowful golden eyes, "When are you going to tell me the truth?"

"Now." He said.

"You told me you would tell me in the car, but that didn't seem to happen. Do you promise to tell me? tell me the truth. The entire truth." She pleaded.

Kiara couldn't help that she had grown a liking for this guy, but the fact that his life was built up of lies just made her feel guilty and hurt that she had fallen for him.

As the couple sat down in the tan leather seats of the private jet, Leo just sat there staring at the ground.

"Well are you going to tell me or not?" Kiara asked pissed.

"Yeah, it's just I don't know where to start." He said bringing a hand to his forehead in frustration.

There was a long silence between them as the jet started to move for take off. It stayed that way until Kiara had had enough.

"Are you going to tell me?" she asked annoyed at Leo.

"Yes." he said while standing up and walking away from her.

"I thought you were going to tell me!" she yelled at him angrily.

"Yeah, but I'm also going to show you." He said with a smirk that made him even more sexy as he started to take off his shirt.

Kiara cocked an eyebrow, " You don't need to show me anything ---" she started but stop herself as she stared at Leo's perfection as he took off his shirt.

His body was perfect. His abs showed greatly through his perfectly tanned skin. He looked like a model.

As Kiara's eyes skimmed his body they stopped dead at his lower hip where a pair of eyes stared back.

She remembered covering her mouth, but she didn't remember standing up and walking towards him.

"Kiara. You know that it can't be an accident that you and I have the exact same mark." Leo said breaking Kiara's trace.

"How --- this can't be happening." Was all she said with her wide eyes focused on his mark.

As she got closer to him, he was able to touch her which sent shivers of delight and lust now. But when she came even closer he started to roll up her shirt and then he took it off.

She was left in her sweats and a bra. She started to feel herself going out of control for lust. She could feel her juices flowing at her nakedness.

"Look, Kiara. The reason why you and me have the same markings is because you and me have always meant to be. I have been searching for you my entire life, along with my ancestors before me. We've been searching for what we've lost. And now that I have you I can't let you go. "He said placing two fingers under her chin so she was looking up into his golden eyes.

"And you and me are not human. We are far from it. We ... Can shift." He added. This time her eyebrows drew together.

"Kiss me and you'll find the magic." Was all he said. Kiara couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"Kiss me." Leo repeated. She hesitated since she needed to register what was happening, but it was to long for Leo.

As he crashed his lips against hers, she couldn't help but moan just by this touch. As his tongue battled to enter her mouth until she finally gave up and let him enter with pleasure.

She could feel their bodies rocking back and forth against each other. She didn't know if it was possible, but he pulled her father towards him. Which caused Kiara to wrap her arms around his neck. She could feel him wander on her bare skin sending sparks everywhere through her.

Kiara never wanted this to end as did Leo.

But soon as the kiss started to grow deeper, a burning sensation filled their bodies. They both knew the heat source was coming from their hip, but this time it wasn't painful like the rest, instead it seemed to make both of them more hungry.

But to soon for Kiara's liking, Leo pushed away.

"Wow." was all he said out of breath along with his sexy smirk.

"Yeah, wow." Kiara replied, also out of breath.

" I didn't think I would ever be able to pull away." Leo said astonished at himself.

"You do know you never had too." Kiara said placing her arms around Leo's neck like before.

"Trust me I never wanted to." Leo's smirk turned into a big smile as he slid his arms around her waist.

"Did you feel the burning?" he asked her out of the blue.

"Uh, yeah. What was that?" she asked believing anything he would tell her now. She still couldn't get over the fact that he had kissed her. Kiara was still breathless.

"That was our bond growing. You see since none of my ancestors have mated with you or even close to touching you before, you grow farther and farther away from us each generation." he said simply.

"Each generation?" She echoed. She was suddenly very curious.

"Yeah, each generation that you, Power, that's what my kind and Thorns call you ---" He was cut short by Kiara.

"Thorn? Who's that?"

"Um well he's the bastard that stole my throne and he is also the bastard that had those assholes capturer you for you to become his mate and not mine." Leo spat with disgust.

"Well if he got away with capturing me, I wouldn't agree to 'Mating' him as you put it." she said with attitude.

"Kiara if you got stuck with him, he wouldn't let you have a choice of mating him, he would do it anyway, just like how he stole my throne. he would want to mate you because if you were mated to him you would give him all the power that anyone could ever possess and you wouldn't be able to mate with anyone else. That's how ..." Leo said as he thought of a word to say, "That's how important you are to me. Plus I'll explain more of my history with you." Leo finished.

"So that's why you call me 'Power'. " she said as she took this all in.
