Kiara awoke at the sound of movement. When she rolled over, she saw Leo walking around the room in with hands through his blonde hair, frustrated. She didn't know what to say and her mind was picking away at her.

Did he regret what they did?

Feeling her heart pound, she was sure it was going to beat so hard that it would go through her chest. As the silence remained, Kiara finally gave up and decided to sit and go talk to Leo. At her movement, he instantly turned around and that's when Kiara noticed it. His eyes. Yeah they were just eyes, but they weren't his. Not his golden ones, not the ones Kiara fell in love with.

Shock, or fear must've been written on her face as Leo made a nervous smile appear on his face as he approached her.

"So you noticed?" he asked just a few feet away from her.

"Are mine like ..." she stuttered. " ... That?"

"I'm afraid so." He said quietly. as he turned around again the room fell under silence.

"What do you think this means?" Kiara asked, hating the awkwardness between them.

"I don't know." He whispered. Kiara didn't know why, but she could feel anger burn up inside her, and before she knew it, she was yelling at Leo.

"How can you not know?! Your suppose to be an expert on this stuff! I shouldn't have to sit around wondering what the hell is going on with my life! This should ---"

"I DON'T KNOW!" He yelled, leaving Kiara shocked. As he looked into her eyes, he saw what she saw. His reflection glaring back at him through her pupils. He didn't look like himself. Through her now golden with blue and black tints eyes he realized that he gained anger over something so small. He remembered being calm, so where did his anger come from?

"I'm sorry." he whispered to her. She still had a shocked expression. He sat down on the bed and she soon followed him. "Please say something."

"I'm sorry." She said.

"What? You shouldn't be the one apologizng."

"Yes I should be. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have bursted out at you like that. I don't know why, but a sudden anger came over me and --"

"You felt a sudden urge of anger come over you?" he asked taking a sudden interest.

"Um yeah, that's what I said. Why?"

"Because I got angry just seconds before you started complaining."
"You don't think this," she said pointing to her eyes and in between them. " that this has anything to do with last night, do you?"

"It might." He said rubbing the back of his neck. "It's said once the bound is complete, the couple share extraordinary powers, and maybe emotions." he concluded.

"So you think we are sharing emotions? Man, and I thought shape shifting into a freaking lion was messed up, now i find out we can share emotions!" Kiara huffed as she fell onto the bed.

"Weird can not explain our lives. Not even close." He added laying down beside her. " How do you think Cedric and Yana will react to this?"

"Well I'm sure Yana will rather be pissed at us for living the party that was held for us oooorrr she will rather want every single darn detail of last night."

"I'm fine with the second one. Make it sound super sexy." He said giving Kiara a side smirk before he kissed her cheek and got up.

"Where are you going?" She asked alarmed.

"Geez girl, calm down." He replied while laughing. "I'm going to go get breakfast, plus I kinda want to see Yana. You coming?"

"That's not even a question, of course I'm coming!"

"I knew I smelt it!" Kiara exclaimed while rushing over with Leo to the bacon. Leo just laughed until he felt someone tap his shoulder. As he turned around, his best mate Cedric was smiling like he just stole candy from a baby.

"Dude."

"What?" Leo hissed without taking his eyes off Kiara. He didn't want Cedric to see his eyes .

"Marry her." he laughed as he walked away to go find Yana.

Leo just waved it off with a chuckle as he followed Kiara to a table. It was then that he realized Kiara barley had anything but bacon on her plate.

"So you really like bacon,eh?"

"Wow. Aren't you a genius." She replied sarcastically.

As their breakfast continued they shared a few laughs, but they both knew what was really bothering them. Whenever someone walked by, they'd put their heads down or pretend to do something else without the person seeing their eyes. but what could they do?

"You know we can't keep this secret. Someone's gonna find out."

Kiara interrupted Leo's thoughts as she didn't want anyone eves dropping.

"I know, I know. But how are we suppose to come out of the closet with this? We can't just say "Oh yeah last night me and Kiara had sex last night and it gave us superpowers where we can feel each other's emotions. Its not gonna work. "

"True. But we have to tell some one instead of being little girls about it."

"I'm not a little girl!"

"Only little girls say that." Kiara snickered. " But seriously, maybe we could tell Yana."

Almost as if on cue, Yana came running through the doors with beads of sweat pouring down her face . As her eyes searched the now silent crowd, they fell onto Kiara and Leo.

"He's coming for war."
