"Yana?" Kiara asked nervous and scared.

It couldn't be true. Could it? Kiara thought.

All this time she thought Leo was dead and she was going crazy by hearing his voice inside her head along with even picturing him there beside her at times. Kiara was so confused she barely even saw or heard Yana move towards her until she wrapped an arm around Kiara's shoulders.

"Yeah?" Yana replied all sympathetic. Kiara was shocked that Yana was actually caring for her let alone worrying for her when they just met like a few minutes ago.

"How can this be true? I saw his body after he'd been shot." Kiara told Yana. She didn't want to believe these news --- she couldn't. Kiara could see Yana think her thoughts through before she spoke.

"The fact that you didn't feel any ..." She paused to figure out the right word. "... desire for Thorn indicates that your still fated with Leo, meaning he still isn't dead. If he was, then you wouldn't be able to get your hands off of Thorn." She finished by clapping her hands together and smiling --- for once.

"I wouldn't go near that son of a bit--"Kiara started before Yana cut in.

"Trust me. As much as I hate to admit it, it's true." And she left it at that before, she too, left the room. Taken back by Yana's strange mood swings, Kiara then followed her out of the room they were just in.

"I see you are now following me. Why?" Yana turned around and stared deep into Kiara's eyes, and that's when Kiara noticed they weren't pitch black like Cecil's or golden as hers instead they were an emerald green. Lost in Yana's eyes, she completely forgot the questioned asked.

'Well?" Yana asked once again losing her temper.

"Well what?" Kiara asked lost.

"Why is it that you lions loose your attention so quickly!?" Yana yelled out but not particular at Kiara.

" I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you ---" Kiara never finished. Yana was lucky that Kiara was able to control herself around here as her lioness started to feel threatened and angry with this leopard standing here in front of her and insult her as well.

"Ah it's alright love. That's just Yana under a super load of stress. She is usually very nice to her guests." Cedric butted in, emphasizing "usually" and "guests" . Kiara was having a bit of trouble suppressing her laugh.

"I'm sorry. Cedric's right." Yana apologized to the giggling Kiara. " It's just the arrival with you and with all the battles that have been going on ... and Leo. I'm loosing it and my mood swings aren't helping either." She laughed off the rest. Kiara was already joining her. In a way, Kiara could see Yana turning into a friend --besides her bizarre mood swings.

"Oh. I'm sorry I-I-I didn't know." Kiara stuttered. She mentally slapped herself after that. Kiara, Yana and Cedric then made their way into a different room, but it wasn't like one Kiara has seen. This one wasn't all luxurious like the rest, and it certainly wasn't as welcoming either.

"What room is this?" Kiara asked out of her curiousness.

"This, my lioness, is the the room that will help you survive!" Yana beamed as she walked backwards into the practical empty room with her arms at full length.
