I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again." - Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
The Next Night...
India...
After a long day of classes, I had came home to my mommy and Kane's return. Of course Kane was knocked out in his room, so I didn't bother him. They had flew in from Jamaica this morning and I honestly missed him. We've been apart for a week but it felt like years, that's because his ass got that bootleg cell service. He's too damn cheap to get a real one, cheap ass.
Since he's been working so hard for the past week, and took two bullets not to mention. I decided to take him out tonight, basically trading places. Kane does so much for my family and I he deserves this treatment honestly. I just wanna show him how much I appreciate what he does. I know he's going to be like its my job it's what I'm suppose to do, but in my eyes it's totally different.
I knock on Kane's door, swaying back and forth on my heel and toes. The door opens and Kane smiles, leaning on the door frame. He smirks, studying my body as I study his in. My eyes bulged when they connect to his print.
"Kane you gotta change." I tell him, pushing him in the room. He laughs, flopping down on the bed. I look through his drawer for some jeans.
"Whats wrong with what I got on?" I turn to him with a straight face, causing him to laugh harder. I hand him some white jeans, grabbing his black Timb's out the top of the closet. I hand them to him, making my way to the door.
"Change please." I tell him. He mocks me, rolling his eyes as he makes his way to the bathroom. I roll my eyes back, leaving out the room. I swear since we got together his teasing attitude has gotten worst. He still plays around way too much. I hate that.
Kane steps out the room, walking ahead and I follow behind him. We make it outside to where all the cars are located. Kane unlocks his truck, and I grab his keys. I unlock my G-Wagon, locking his car back.
"Oh hell naw! I'm not getting that purple shit." He whines. I smack my lips.
"What ever I pick your ass up in, that's what we're riding in." I tell him demandingly. He cocks a brow and I do the same, flipping my hair over my shoulder.
"Who you talking too?" He questions.
"You." I point.
"No you're not tho. I don't know you think you are-" I cut him off.
"I'm mami and I do what I want. Now get your ass in this truck." I demand, opening his door for him. He sighs, mumbling under his breath while walking over to the passenger side getting in. I close the door, sighing heavily. This shit is already going wrong.
