"Imani, go check on Yoko please. I need to make sure that Zeus and the guys are ready." MomMom Sidney tells me. I nod, standing from my seat as I make my way to the inside of the mansion. I stop in the way of the door of excited children, India running right behind them. Well waddling behind them.
"Sakiya, Sarojini and Kadia!" India calls sternly. The twins freeze in mid run, Kadia keeps going sideways running and giggling. India huffs trying to catch her breath, shaking her head as she rubs her stomach. Sakiya and Sarojini are Zeus and Yoko's twin girls. They're both brown-skin with jet black curls and light brown eyes that are shaped just like Yoko's. Kadia is India and Kane's baby girl. All three of the little girls act just like their father.
"Now you know damn well your pregnant ass shouldn't be running after those kids." My dad laughs. India leans on the stoned banister, winded as I laugh. She's six months pregnant and let's hope for her sake she's having a boy.
"Daddy can you get Kadia please? I need to sit down." She pants.
"Yea. Fore you give early birth." I tease, entering the mansion.
"Shut up Imani." She mumbles. I decide not go back and forth with her because today it's not about her. It's about Yoko's and Zeus wedding. I knock on the door, feeling a tug on my dress and I look down. I smile at Raine as she smiles wild, waving.
"Hi Mani." She waves.
"Hi Raine. Where's your daddy?" I question, stooping down. She turns around, pointing to Ramel as he fixes he tie in the mirror. Jammie steps out with their second child as she holds his hand. I smile as they call Raine and she runs off to them.
"Looking sharp cous." I call down the hall. Ramel laughs and shrugs.
"You know how we do. All white and shit." He laughs, popping his collar. I shake my head, knocking on the door again of Yoko's room. Shi opens the door, greeting me with a warm smile letting me in. I smile at Yoko through the mirror as my mom does her make up, and Aunt Piper does her hair.
"Look at my Auntie." I coo. Yoko laughs, rolling her eyes.
"Chile! Don't do that, you'll make me feel old. I'm just 23." She says. I laugh and nod, eating a couple grapes out the bowl. I mean she's marrying my uncle which will make her my aunt, but we don't call neither one of them aunt or uncle. Unless we're playing around or need something.
"I've been meaning to ask what do your kids name mean? They're really pretty." I tell her. Yoko smiles, looking up as my mom dabs concealer under her eyes.
