Chapter two
"Hey pumpkin." Lucifer, my father yelled back at me as I darted across and threw myself into his waiting embrace.
It'd be a while since I'd seen Lucifer because he was so busy but whenever he had a spare moment or anything, he would come up and visit me. And the family of course.
"Oh no, I didn't make enough for five!" Courtney cried out and looked really ashamed, like she had committed adultery and been caught. My father came over and patted her shoulder in a fatherly gesture.
"It's alright, I ate downstairs so I'm full but please don't let me disturb your meal." He nodded eagerly and snapped his fingers. A chair appeared and he sat down with a giant sigh.
My father was classy and as The King of Hell he had to look presentable as well as elegant as always. He wore a black classic suit with a red tie and a gold watch. My father was a handsome man and it was a wonder a lot of women would throw away their souls for him.
He had a boyish charm to him, with his brown hair that sat today in a messy kind of way. He had blue eyes and a body that was sculptured for greatness. He had perfect white straight teeth and a wonderful cheeky smile.
As we ate dinner together, Lucifer had his scotch in his hand which was a must have with him.
When you find out your father is the great Lucifer it brings up some questions like:
Who is my mother?
Why am I here?
Who am I?
What am I?
And when it was all explained to me, I understood and I accepted my fate. Why fight fate when you could just go along with it?
My destiny was destroy the human race. Easy right?
I don't hate human's but the Archangels deserve to see them be punished and why should they get to live anyway? Most humans are pathetic and can't do something without the help of others or approval of others.
But like I said, I accepted it without question and that day my training began. It was said back in the day, that when Lucifer was to bare a child, the Archangels were going to bare another one.
I've yet to come across this other child and apparently he was going to end my life as well as my father's. Which I thought was pretty unlikely considering I'd been alive for seventeen years and I hadn't been caught yet.
Which meant that the Archangels were full of shit.
"So Lily you go back to school tomorrow, you excited?" Lucifer asked me and I rolled my eyes up at him.
Lucifer thought it was be best if I went to school like a human because... well my father is the King of Hell. He specialises in torturing people. So since I couldn't drop out of school, I had to finish my schooling like a normal human. But thankfully this year I would have Courtney and Ryan with me.
"Super duper dad!" I muttered sarcastically and he laughed at me.
"Well don't worry about it, it's only two more years." He said as if it were nothing.
It wasn't like I wasn't popular at school or anything, because I was. All the guys fought for my attention and all the girls craved my friendship. It was as if I was their queen, the ruler of high school. It was ironic that I was the one who would effectively end their lives and yet they worshiped me like a goddess.
After dinner, Theodor and Lucifer had to go down to Hell to take care of a few things so I said my goodbyes to him before they left.
As I laid there that night, I fondled with my necklace as I thought about school tomorrow. I had uneasy feeling about it. Like something big was going to happen. I frowned at the thoughts that were swirling around my head and hoped that they were just 'back to school' nerves.
