Chapter 2: Disliked

Jakob and Bob came outside to see what the noise was. Ev sat back and watched the people in the wreckage. Ted and Jim then came out of the Y and saw the wreck. Jim and Ted went with Jakob and Bob to go help the people. The one who was trying to pull out the other one finally got him free. Ev watched him carefully, he had a museum looking sword on his back and one by his side. The one who looked like they were crying turned out to be a girl. She had some sort of sub machine guns by her sides. The man who was pulled out of the wreckage had an ak-47 on his back. He looked around for something frantically. Ev wondered what was so important for him to act like that. Then Ev knew why, Ev could feel his eyes widen and a sudden feeling of want. The man had grabbed a knife sheath and unsheathed a knife out of it. The knife was of older design but it was completely golden and jewels encrusted in its hilt. Ev sat there staring at it like a drooling dog. The last man who was calling for help had an axe on his back. It looked like it was better than Jakob's. Jakob approached them.
"What happened "? Asked Jakob
"We ran out of gas" said the man with the axe on his back
"Who are you "? asked Jakob
"I'm-" started the man
"That's enough Ben" said the man with the golden knife
"I'm Matthew " said the man
Jakob nodded
"This is Andy" said Matthew pointing at the man with the swords.
"This is Ben and this is Miranda " said Matthew pointing at the man with the axe and then to the girl.
Jakob nodded again
"I'm Jakob "
Jakob then pointed at Bob
"That's Bob "
Then he pointed at Jim then Ted
"And that's Jim and Ted "
Matthew nodded
"Nice to meet you people" he said
"Looks like you have a nice little base here" said Andy
Jakob nodded
"Who's in charge here" asked Matthew
"Um no one is really in one hundred percent charge of everyone " said Jakob
"Hm...why's that"? Matthew asked
"We just work better that way" said Jakob
"Hm"
There was an awkward silence for a couple of seconds.
"Why don't you come inside" said Jakob
"Alright " said Matthew
Everyone then started to walk up the stairs into the Y. On the way in Miranda shot the three sickos on the field with her now known uzi smgs.
"How many sickos you killed" asked Bob
"Sickos? We called them biters " said Ben
Bob nodded slightly
Jaden then came out and said hi to the new guests.
"Hi I'm Jaden"
The newcomers nodded to him.
Matthew then caught glimpse of a person back by the backside of the Y.
"Who's that" ? Asked Matthew
"Oh that's Ev, he's gone nuts ever since his girlfriend died" said Jaden
Matthew watched him very carefully then noticed he was watching him back.
"Maybe I could chat with him" suggested Matthew
"I did take some therapy classes"
"Maybe..." said Jakob
They all then walked into the Y. Jakob went and brought them to a room that they could stay in. After they were all inside Jakob told Adam to start making a feast for their welcome. Ev went inside and went up to his room. He walked over to the side of his room with the vent. He popped it off and leaned into it.
"What are we going to do "?
"Shhh calm down we'll be back to normal soon enough "
"Are you sure"?
Ev smiled. He now could hear everything they were saying.
"We've got to sway some of them to follow us" said Matthew
"We'll start with Ev "
