Chapter 6: War

Ev ran down the hall towards the gym where Jakob and Ted where. He ran into them outside of the gym.
"Jaden stole the armory's keys" said Ted
"Great" said Ev sarcastically
"Where are they right now" ? Asked Jakob
"Matthew just got his jaw knocked in and I don't know what the others are up to" said Ev
"Did you attack Matthew " ? Asked Jakob
Ev nodded
"Great" said Jakob
Bob then came zooming down the hall.
"The five of them just went off in car towards the air force base with all of our stuff" said Bob
"Where's Jim " ? Asked Ev concerned
"Here" said Jim as he came around the corner
"So Jaden was the traitor. Wait...where's Adam and Gen "? said Ev
"Upstairs " said Bob
"I want someone on guard duty" said Jakob
"I got it " said Jim
"No we go out and strike them" said Ev
"No we wait" said Jakob
Ev growled in anger. Jakob continued giving out orders to the others. Ev shook his head went outside. No one had known that when they had originally arrived here that Ev hid the ATV. He went and got it out and started it up. He then zoomed off down the road in pursuit of the group. Jakob came out and saw him speed off.
"I always did wonder where that ATV went" said Jakob
They went back into the Y to start their jobs. Ev zoomed down the road. Bob had said they were heading towards the air force base. He came around a corner and saw some sickos. He came to a sudden stop. He hadn't driven the ATV in a while and he hit the brakes too hard. He ended up flying off into the road. He started getting up when he heard an incoming car. His group's old car was coming down the road. Ev jumped off into the ditch by the road. The car sped past and was heading for the Y.
"Great " said Ev
He turned to get back on the ATV but it had been surrounded by sickos. Ev unsheathed his knives.
Jim was looking around the area for any signs of Mathew and his group. They had found some guns and stuff left behind. He looked over to the south and saw the car pulling up. Jim went and got the others. Jakob and the others came outside with their guns. Ben, Matthew, Andy and Jaden got out of the car. They were carrying the stolen riot shields from the armory.
"What do you want thieves and traitor "? Asked Jakob
"I want an agreement " said Matthew
"On what"?
"If you give us the Y you'll be spared" said Matthew
"If doubt we will be" said Bob
"You've been lying this whole time" said Jakob "why should I trust you "?
"Cause if you don't you'll be killed anyways" said Matthew
Jakob looked around at his fellow survivors.
"What say you guys"? Asked Jakob
Everyone shook their heads.
Jakob turned back to Matthew
"No" said Jakob
"Very well " said Matthew
Matthew started to reach for his Ak-47 when Ev came out from around the car. He was closest to Andy and he charged him. Andy barely had time to drop the shield and pull out his sword. Ev had his knives and, with fresh sicko blood on them. Andy parried the first blow. The other three went into a sort of panic mode. Jakob and the others pulled out rifles and started to fire at them. Andy swung and caught Ev across the chest. It wasn't a deep cut. Ev then took this chance to slice back which went down Andy's forearm. He winced in pain.
"Screw this" said Ben as he climbed back into the vehicle. Jaden went to get in but was grabbed by the collar of his shirt by Matthew.
"Nope" said Matthew and he pulled Jaden down into the ground. He then got inside. Andy hit Ev right in the face, stunning him. He then jumped into the car. Jaden got up and went for the car but a bullet went through his left leg, knocking him back down. Ev wasn't gonna let them get away and grabbed Andy by the legs. The car started and went off down the road. Ev was still holding on to Andy. He was being dragged along the road side. Ev felt extreme pain as his skin was being ripped off by the road. He tried to pull himself up but slipped and fell onto the road. He looked up and saw the car driving away down the road.
