Brain Dead 2- The Unknown

Chapter 9: Hostage

Ev walked over and resheathed his knives. Ev then dragged Ben's body down to the road. He found an empty car in the middle of the road. He preceeded to tear out the seat belts. He then used them to tie up Ben's arms and legs. He tied one more around his mouth and made sure it was tight enough so it wouldn't slide off. After he made sure Ben was all set to go he grabbed him and started dragging him to the Y. He walked for a while then the two emerged out of the forest. He saw to his left down aways was the entrance to the base. He started to head towards it. After he reached it he went on to the road and then continued his quest to return home. Luckily Ben had remained unconscious for the entire time so far. He stopped for a little bit and ate some food then continued on. He then realized that he had been an idiot and had not brought any water. He shook his head and told himself that he was an idiot. He continued walking, dragging Ben behind him. He turned onto another road and kept walking. He started to stumble about on the road. He started to feel nauseous and continued stumbling around. The heat was burning him up and the sun roasted him. Ev could feel sweat running down all over his body. Eventually he slumped to the ground and layed there. He was just searing hot. The lack of water was also taking its toll. He layed there staring up at the sun. He eventually got up and looked around. He saw something at a nearby gas station. It was Matthew. He was waving the Bane of Kings around towards Ev. This caused Ev to shoot up and start running for Matthew. Matthew turned and ran into the gas station. Ev didn't want to loose him and pulled out his revolver. He fired three shots. All hit Matthew in the back but he kept running. Ev stopped and watched confused. Matthew then somehow ran into the station through the doors. Ev stood there confused.
"Did I take something "?
Asked quickly as Matthew disappeared another figure came out. This time it was Quest. He was holding a bloody knife of Vengeance. Behind him was her dead body. Ev fired the remaining three shots at Quest and the yelled and ran at him. When he was about to collide with him he disappeared. Ev ended up running into the station's wall. He got up and looked around. There was no sign that there was anyone else there. Ev looked down and saw his revolver empty. The glass doors of the gas station were blown out. Ev started to get up when he heard sickos. He got a hold of himself and started heading back to where he left Ben. When he got there Ben was partially awake and one more smack to the head knocked him out again. He then started to drag Ben's body back the way he came. He eventually recognized where he was and got back into the main road. He walked for about thirty minutes. Ev was walking when he heard something and stopped. He stopped behind a car and looked for whatever made the noise. He saw a group of sickos walking around down the road. He knew that wouldn't be able to take on all of them so he remained hidden. One started to stumble in his direction.
"Shoot" said Ev
He started to shove Ben under a car when he heard a car coming. He peeked over and saw it was Adam's truck. Adam jumped out and called to Ev.
"Come on"! Yelled Adam
Ev grabbed Ben and got him into the car. A couple of sickos were close now. Ev pulled out his knives and dispatched them quickly. He then jumped into the car. Adam started it and then zoomed off to the Y.
