Brain Dead 2- The Unknown

Chapter 17: Return

It was three days later after the wedding party. Life continued going forward. It was the way things had been before Matthew and his group showed up. It was peaceful and quiet most of the days. Supply runs were easy and the sickos had toned down quite a bit. Everyone was acting the same way they had been since the party. It had been about a month now since the fight at the air force base.
Bob sat on the newly added secondary wall. It had been put up by Ted, Jakob and himself. Now the Y had two walls around it. Bob was the unlucky one that got guard duty. Actually it was Ev who got it but he couldn't be bothered to go do it so Bob always went and did it when it was Ev's turn. He took in another scan of the area. He saw the usual group of sickos walking around. He then saw something out of the usual. He saw smoke rising up from behind the high school across the street. He went and got up on the roof of the Y and got a better look. He saw the houses behind the high school on fire. He also saw several trucks driving around the neighborhood. Each of them doing something to continue the blaze. He then watched them return to the high school. They all got out and headed inside. Each one of them was chatting with another one like they were all friends. Then the final person got out of the truck. It was Andy.
Bob went and told the others this. The only conclusion they could come up with was Andy had gone and found people to join him and now he was going to attack the Y. Ted and Bob a went up to a watchtower that was constructed on the secondary wall. Ted used his shield as cover as Bob had a rifle at the ready behind him. Joe and Larry got rifles and got behind some cover behind the wall. There was some open points in the wall that aloud them to see out of. Jakob and Jaden got their melee weapons ready and then waited behind cover. Adam had his trusty rifle and was in the other tower with Jade. Gen got to watch Sarah inside the Y. Mike had out a pistol and a knife. Everyone looked around to make sure everyone was ready.
"Where's Ev "? Asked Jakob
Ev was out at the back of the Y. He had a plan. He was gonna sneak out and then when they were all fighting he was going to sneak up behind them and take them out and then finish off Andy. He checked to make sure all of his weapons were ready. He was going to get the Bane of Kings even if it was last thing he did. He opened up the back gate.
SMASH.
The last thing he saw was a man with a gun hit him in the head. The other man laughed and then dragged him into a truck and then they drove away. They ended up passing by the front of the Y. The Y group shot at them but it did nothing. A group from the high school came over and started shooting at them. Both sides traded off shots from each other. These men were better fighters then had fought in the past. Not a single one of them was hit. Joe, Mike and Bob all got hit with shots from them. They had to pull away from the wall otherwise they were gonna loose someone. They watched as the truck pulled into the high school. They waited to see what would happen. They watched to men get out and dragged something. They all then pulled back into the Y to recover.
Ev awoke.
His vision was dark and blurred. He looked around and saw men standing on either side of him. All of them had some kind of weapon.
"He's awake " said a familiar voice
Ev realized it was Andy.
He looked around and saw he was outside on the ground tied to a chair.
"You've caused alot of problems in the past times" said Andy
Ev didn't speak.
"And it's too bad you won't be having this ever" said Andy as he unsheathed the Bane of Kings.
Ev flinched at it.
Andy laughed then put it away again.
"You killed my friend and his followers so now I'm going to make your death last"
Andy nodded to the men and they grabbed him. They positioned him in specific spot. Ev didn't know what they were doing but then Andy walked over and kicked him in the stomach and he fell backwards. He fell into a pit in the ground. He hit the ground with a hard huff. His breath was knocked out of him bit then he realized something. There were sickos in this pit with him.
