Chapter 27

April's POV
"Come in quick!" I hurried Grayson as I pulled him through the door. "Babe? Why aren't you changed yet?" He stopped in the middle of the living room, taking in a deep breath. "What is that heavenly smell?" He closed his eyes as he continued to sniff.

"I'm running late Gray!" I panicked as I rushed up the stairs to my room. "Watch the food!" I shouted as I wandered into my closest. "And don't eat it!" I warned. I worked really hard on it.

I paced around in my closet as I groaned at Grayson for not telling me earlier. He called me like three hours ago saying that suddenly Cameron got a girlfriend. Of course Grayson invited them over for a double date type of thing, so I got stuck doing the cooking.

I calmed down a little once the thought of one of the guys getting a girl occurred in my head. Finally I'll never be alone again! Let's hope they'll last. I also hope she's nice and I really want her to like me so I can finally have a friend who's a girl. There some things you just can't tell a guy you know.

My eyes suddenly landed on a mint green crop top. I immediately decided to wear it since I bought it but never got the chance to wear it anywhere. I paired it with a long black maxi skirt that had a slit down the side. A little of skin showed where the crop top and the skirt met but I was only staying home. Plus it's Grayson and Cameron; one whom is my fiancé and the other one has a girlfriend.

I had no time to curl my hair so I just left it in its natural waves. I did my make-up as quick as I can so I can be finished in time. As I was putting on my black heels I heard the door bell ring and Cameron's voice greeting Grayson.

I limped my way out my bedroom door as I was trying to get the other shoe on. Once I was at the top of the stairs I straightened my posture and started walking down.

"Hi Cameron!" I smiled at the both of them as I walked in to Grayson's arms. His hand immediately snaked around my waist. "Hey April." I looked towards the pretty brunette next to him. "I'm April." I introduced myself.

I was about to shake her hand but instead she pulled me in for a hug, and I already like her. "I'm Sabrina, nice to meet you." She was beautiful, and she had the prettiest smile with those deep dimples.

"Come on in!" Grayson motioned for them to step inside. We all took a seat on the couches. Grayson and I sat next to each other as Sabrina and Cameron mirrored our appearance.

"So Sabrina, where did you and Cameron meet." I asked, trying to get to now her better. "Yeah, and how come you never mentioned her to me best friend." Grayson added sassily, clearly feeling offended.

"Oh come on Grayson! You guys would've for sure embarrassed me in front of her." Grayson chuckled, knowing for sure that what Cameron said was true. "So how we met... You want to tell them?" Sabrina nodded at Cameron as she turned to face us.

"Well I was riding the bus and couldn't help but spot this attractive guy checking me out." She turned to look at Cameron for a second, before she continued. "We exchanged a few glances and a small smile. But then the bus came to a sudden stop and I fell back. Guess who caught me?" She giggled.

"Guilty as charged." Cameron laughed as he put his hand up. We soon all started laughing at the cute scene. But part of me wished that Grayson and I had a story like that too. What are we suppose to tell people in the future when they ask us the same question. We don't have a cute story, we only have dirty little lies.
