Chapter 51

April's POV
The feeling of my naked body glued to his was foreign, but amazing. Last night was by far the best of all. I've never had a smile on my face in the morning just because I woke up and someone was there next to me. But him, he has that effect on me.

Grayson was everything that I've ever dreamed of having. He gives me the love, care and attention that I've only received from my mother. Now that she's gone, I feel like he has filled up her spot and more.

He was still fast asleep when my phone rang and startled me. "Shit." I murmured. I sat up slowly, not wanting him to be awoken, and pulled up the sheets to cover my body. Sure he's seen me naked, but I still felt exposed.

"Hello?" I said groggily. "Morning April!" Bethany's loud voice rung through my ear. "Would you lower your voice a bit? Gray is still asleep." I whispered. "Must've been a long night for you two."

Even though I can't see her, I can still tell that she's smirking. "Shut the fuck up." I hissed. "Hmm so you're not denying that things happened?" I rolled my eyes. "No, I am not. A lot of things happened and they were amazing."

"Well guess what?" She asked. "What?" I stretched my arms a bit, yawning. "Last night after you guys left, Ethan asked me out." I smiled, knowing that Grayson and I's plan from the first day that we met Bethany finally worked. "Your welcome."

"What?" She asked confused. "I may or may not have had anything to do with it." She chuckled. "Well thanks, you're a great best friend." I suddenly felt someone's warm hand rest on my bare back. I looked back at Grayson to see him wide awake, smiling.

"Hey Bethany? I think I'll call you back later." I told her. "I'm guessing Grayson wants something." She laughed to herself. "You two have fun! Call me when your flight lands in Bali."

"Morning Mrs.Dolan." Something about him seemed so much happier this morning, it delighted me. "Sounds so good coming out of your mouth." I giggled, leaning down to kiss him. It was supposed to be a fast peck, but Grayson liked it otherwise.

After a few minutes I pulled away. "We need to get ready for our flight." He groaned. "But I was thinking we can do round two instead." I slapped his chest playfully. "There's plenty of time for us to do that later."

"Now come on, go hop in the shower." I told him. "Can you come with?" He pouted. "Me in the shower with you... so many things can go wrong there." I chuckled. "I promise I won't touch you so we won't get distracted." "Okay deal."

"Grayson!" I squealed once he picked me up. "I'm naked put me down!" He laughed. "So?" I rolled my eyes as he carried me to the shower. "Hey April wanna blow me?" I gasped. "You liar! You said you won't do anything dirty." He put his hands up in defence.

By the time we landed in Bali, I was exhausted. Grayson's family decided to rent us our own villa on the beach instead of a hotel. They said it'd be better to only spend time together and not be surrounded by people. Honeymoons were supposed to be quiet and relaxing.

The whole villa was situated upon water, it was breath taking. "This place..." I looked around, stunned. "It's so magical." My mouth was half open as I took in the view. Everywhere you would look there was water, crystal clear water.

It was around nine at night in Bali, so the sun was already down. I stood in front of the pool, admiring everything around me. Grayson's arms wrapped around me from behind. "Wanna swim?" He murmured into my neck.

"Isn't it cold?" I dipped my toes into the water, it was completely warm. "Never mind." Grayson grabbed my hand and we went inside to change out of our clothes. "You know there are water slides too?"

"Really?" Grayson nodded. "This place is a dream come true." I sighed, feeling every little weight lifted off my chest. "Two weeks in this paradise. Just you and I... perfect ain't it?" I smiled at Grayson, completely agreeing.

I put on a white bikini while Grayson out on his swimming trunks. This place was so private that I can go skinny dipping and no one would see. It's really nice to finally have a get away from everything. I like it back home, but here, it's so soothing.

I jumped in the pool with Grayson, making a huge splash. The warm water immediately engulfed me whole, tickling my skin. We swam to the water slides, climbing up the stairs. "This place has everything! What the heck?"

I sat on Grayson's lap and we slid down, splashing around in the pool and laughing. "You know that Ethan asked Bethany out." Grayson looked shocked, "about time that man grows a pair." I chuckled. "He just needed a little push, that's all."

Blake's POV
"Going to Hunter's, be back before dinner!" I called out to no one in particular in my house. "Hold up there young man!" I rolled my eyes, but turned. "Yes mother?" She had both hands on her hips, sassily. "I've been noticing a pattern with you..."

My heart skipped a beat, I have been spending way too much time with Hunter recently. Can you really blame me? He is my boyfriend after all, but she doesn't know that. "Before we moved here you never had the tendency to be out so often."

"That's because I didn't have friends. Now that I do have just one, can you please drop this?" She looked at me stubbornly. "Maybe Hunter is been affecting you-" I gasped, "How could you even say that?"

She looked taken aback. "I was just stating my opinion-" I cut her off once again, "Yeah well next time keep it to yourself! I'm actually happy for once and now you want to ruin that too?" I ran out the door and went straight to the one place I felt safe, Hunter's house.

I didn't even bother knocking, the Rowlands tended to leave their door open half the time. I ran straight up the stairs and burst into Hunter's room. He was so startled that he jumped off his bed and looked like he was ready to beat whoever that just broke in.

"Oh my god you scarred me!" He breathed, his hands on his chest. "Are you okay?" He asked once he heard me sniff. "I'm fine." He looked at me dumbfounded, "Is that really how you're going to answer me?" I soon gave in. "I'm not fine."

Hunter opened his arms, and pulled me in. I hesitated a bit, "Your family?" I rested my head in the crook of his neck. "They're out shopping, I'm home alone." I nodded, finally understating why he jumped so high for dear life when I 'broke' in.

"You wanna talk about it?" I sighed. "Can-can you just hold me instead?" He stumbled back on to his bed, "Sure I can." I relaxed, getting rid of everything negative in my life. All I needed was that one positive part, which was Hunter.

"Hunter...." I looked up at him, his arms wrapped around me as I lay on his chest. "Hmm?" He hummed back, "You make me happy, you know that right?" He smiled gently, "You too babe." I suddenly felt so light.

"Blake..." he trailed off, something about his voice sounded nervous. "Yeah?" I replied. "You know... you know that I love you right?" A pang of pure love and happiness shot through me, "I love you too."

"Oh thank god!" He whispered to himself. "Not like you didn't already know." I chuckled. "Well that's true, but I thought you weren't ready to say it back." I smiled briefly, "I've never been so sure about something my whole life."

Grounded is now officially under continuation! I decided to write it with this book and not on its own cause I'm beginning from where I left off, yes choice number 1 won. This is basically "Grounded 2" or whatever. By the way, I will include what happens in the epilogue but that will come later on. Some of you wanted both so I'll give it to you, but I'll just be telling everything that happened before. Ik it's a short chapter but s'okay at least it's something right?
