Chapter 12: Bromance?

*Case's Pov*

I heard the doorbell ring so I went to go answer the door. I didn't know who it was because I wasn't expecting anyone.

"Adamaris? Mark? What're you guys doing here?" I asked.

"Oh, nothing. I left my house and he decided to follow me." She said.

"Pretty much true. She got mad at me cause I was making fun of her." He said.

"Oh." I said starting to laugh.

"Hey! Don't take his side." She said getting a little madder.

"Why not you're adorable when you get mad." I said.

"Oh. My. God!" She said starting to blush.

"If you don't mind I'm going to go in so I can hide in the bathroom from you two." She said entering my house.

"Aww come on. We were just getting started." I said letting them both in.

She went to the bathroom and left me and Mark alone.

"So what did her parents say about asking her out?" I asked.

"Oh, they gave me permission I just don't want to do it right now." He said.

"Oh, how come?" I asked.

"Because I don't want to be the only guy she is with for most of her life or all of it." He said.

"Oh, good point." I said.

"Yeah, I guess plus you guys are moving." He said.

"Yeah it sucks but it has to happened." I said

"Yeah I actually might move out there too but I don't know yet." He said

"Oh well if you do you should text one of us and then we can hang out." I said.

"Yeah, I will don't worry." He said.

*Adamaris's Pov*

I went to the bathroom once he let me in his house and started to call Alli. She was my other best friend.

"Hey what's up?" She said.

"Hey, can you talk for a bit?" I asked.

"Yeah what's wrong?" She asked.

"Well Mark came over today and I'm still with him but now we are at Case's house." I said. "When we got here I was kind of mad and then Case started to say that I'm adorable when I get mad."

"Oh... Does he like you?" She asked.

"I don't know?!" I said confused.

"Oh. Well, this is confusing." She said.

"Yes, yes it is." I said making both of us laugh.

"Well, I'm going to go." I said.

"Okay bye." She said.

"Bye." I said ending the call.

I got out of the bathroom and they were talking. I didn't hear what they were saying because they stopped.

"About time you got out." Case said.

"I was just calling my parents and brother." I said lying.

"Oh." They both said laughing.

"So what did I miss?" I said sitting in the middle of them.

We were all really close to each other. It was weird and awkward.

"Um... Nothing." They both said mysteriously.

"Okay? Was it about me?" I asked.

"No..." They both said again mysteriously.

"Okay?" I said looking at my phone.

Out of nowhere my phone starting ringing. It was my brother.

"I'll be back." I said going the kitchen.

"Hey what's up." I said

"Where are you?" He asked.

"Case's." I said.

"Oh okay." He said.

"Yeah, can you tell mom and dad?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'll call them and say I dropped you off because I went to a job interview." He said.

"You got one?!" I said excitedly.

"Yeah." He said

"Are you done yet?" I asked.

"No, I'm barely getting here." He said.

"Oh okay well I'm about to leave Case's to go to Alli's house." I said.

"Okay, I'll tell our parents." He said.

"Okay well, I'm going to go now." I said

"Okay bye." He said ending the call.

"Hey sorry about that." I said interrupting their conversation.

*Mark's Pov*

"I'll be back." Adamaris said going to the kitchen.

"I bet she thinks we were talking about her." I said.

"Well, we kind of were." Case said.

"I know but what should we tell her we were talking about?" I asked.

"I don't know but it had to believable." He said.

"Yeah." I said.

"Well we could-" he started to say but was interrupted by Adamaris.

"Hey sorry about that." She said looking nervous.

"But I have to go..."

"I'll see you guys at school tomorrow." She said going to the door.

She looked at her phone and she looked scared.

"Ugh... Bye." She said leaving.

"I wonder what that was all about." I said.

"Yeah... I bet she'll tell us soon." He said.

"Yeah but I have to go to see you tomorrow." I said leaving.

I went home and went on Younow and did a couple of musical.lys. I also reached out to a couple of people before I went to bed.
