(Not mine)
I had just been messing about with one of the Sky People, throwing sticks at them from a tree. The truce had been on for only a day or two by then and things were beginning to get boring. With not being allowed to mess with them, life was completely dull. I'd decided to have a little fun, it wouldn't bother anyone too much, right?
Boy, was I wrong.
I was spotted by him and the next thing I knew one of his friends was pulling me out of the tree and holding a knife to my neck. With my training I was able to pull away from him, taking out my own knife. Taking on one Sky Person was easy but two was quite the challenge. I'd ended up pretty bruised and beaten up but they both fared worse.
I'm now sitting in my tent, waiting for Lexa to arrive. Indra ordered me to wait here for her. She isn't going to be happy. She made me swear to her that I wouldn't cause any more trouble. She knows that I can't help-
The entrance to the tent opens and Lexa enters. She looks furious, her hands are clenched into fists, her eyes glaring. "What have you done this time?" She asks, sounding frighteningly calm.
I blanch. "I got in a fight with some Sky People."
She grits her teeth, her knuckles are white. "YOU DID WHAT?!"
Cringing away from her I mutter a, "Sorry." Avoiding eye contact as well.
When she next speaks she sounds more disappointed than angry. I hate disappointing her. "You promised not to."
I stand up, moving towards her. "I'm sorry, Lexa. I really am."
She looks me directly in the eye. "I thought you were hurt."
I look to the floor. Dammit, now I feel really guilty.
I take another step forward and put my arms around her, hugging her. "I'm sorry, Lexa."
She nods, putting her arms around my back. "Don't do it again, Y/N. Next time you'll have to get punished and I don't want to see that happen."
I smile over her shoulder. "I won't. I promise."
