Chapter 35 - Wrong end of the stick

Zosia made her way to the nurses station, but as she saw Ollie with Jasmine, laughing, joking, and just messing around, she felt a pang of jealousy. She felt as though Jasmine had took her place, and was trying to steal Ollie from her. She watched as Jasmine got closer and closer to Ollie, until she was almost sat on him.
"So Mr Valentine," Jasmine whispered to Ollie, "how about a drink after work? We could head back to mine afterwards?" She winked.
Zosia was outraged, this girl was trying to steal her fiancé! And Ollie wasn't doing anything to stop her! Zosia watched as Ollie laughed, and then leaned close to Jasmine.
"It's a lovely idea," he started.
Jasmines eyes lit up at the thought, making Zosia even angrier.
"But I'm not sure my fiancée would agree." Ollie finished, getting up, and standing next to Zosia. Now back to work Dr Burrows." He said.
Jasmine didn't move, she just sat there in shock, staring at Zosia in disbelief.
"Now." Ollie said sharply.
Jasmine got up quickly, and practically ran towards a patient, trying to get away from the awkward situation as soon as possible.
"Zosia, what are you doing here?" Ollie asked, lifting Penny out her pram, and holding her in his arms.
"We were bored at home, so we decided to come see you." Zosia replied, "and anyway, we need to talk."
"That sounds serious," Ollie said worriedly, "what have I done?"
"It's not so much what you've done, Ollie, it's what you haven't done." Zosia said. "Staff room?"
Ollie nodded, so they went and sat down in the staff room.
"Are you going to tell me what's up them?" Ollie asked.
"Patience Ollie, patience." Zosia smiled, "now, about the wedding," she started.
"What about it? Have you changed your mind, I knew it was too soon, I-" Ollie panicked.
"Ollie, you've got the completely wrong end of the stick, I don't want to cancel the wedding!" Zosia reassured, "actually, I was wondering if we could move it forward. I mean, Cara and Raf are engaged too, and it would look strange if they were married before us."
"Are you sure? I mean, before you were all for waiting until Penny was old enough to join in properly," Ollie asked.
"Ollie, I love you, and I want to marry you. That's all there is to it. So are you with me?" Zosia replied.
"Always." Ollie said, kissing her cheek, "now let's get planning." He smiled, getting his phone from his pocket.
