... Just then the staff room door opened, and in walked someone they didn't think they would see for a while...
"Well, I see not much has changed since I've been away," the sarcastic, icy tone shot through the room.
Zosia got straight up off Ollie, and tried to compose herself. Ollie sat straight up, and Mo put the baby photo down. Her presence seemed to shock everyone, and made them feel the need to act more professional than usual.
"M..." Ollie began.
"Shut it Valentine. Not much has changed either you either, except of course the fact you seem to have kept a girl for once, they usually run away. And you Selfie Junior, what are you doing here? Last I heard you were working with daddy."
"Yes well, not anymore." Zosia said.
"And finally you Maureen, who's the lucky, or unlucky should I say, fella?"
"Oh erm... It's not mine, it's Zosia's." Mo said, blushing and quickly giving the scan photo back to Zosia.
"Ahhh, Selfie Juniors pregnant. That makes more sense... Who's the dad?"
Zosia looked at Ollie, not saying anything.
"You have got to be joking!? You and Valentine made a baby? Wow, things really do change over time."
"I'll have you know me and Zosia are very happy together!" Ollie said defensively.
"Oh yes, of course you are." She said sarcastically.
"Anyway..." Said Zosia, trying to break the ice, "what are you doing back?"
"Well as fun as babies are, I prefer people who can talk."
Just then, Elliot opened the door. "Dr March, Mr Valentine, you're needed in theatre, and..." He started. Then he saw his friend, and his face lit up.
"Welcome back. Long time no see..."
Suddenly, the monitors on the ward started beeping, as one of the patients had gone into cardiac arrest, and the team rushed out to the patient...
Sorry this is short, I've been really busy, but I'll maybe update again tomorrow, as its my birthday, so we'll see how it goes.
