Akiko's Backstory (and her first day at Ouran)

~Flashback~
It was a dark and stormy night. A tall, brown haired man was carrying a basket. Inside this basket was a small baby girl, who was just born about a couple days ago.

After a couple of hours he had finally reached his destination. It was an orphanage. There he left the basket at the doorstep. His face was sad, but he knew what he had to do. He left a letter and a stuffed unicorn inside the basket, then left.

~After 5 years~

"Wah!"

"What is wrong, Akiko?" The orphanage teacher asked.

"Yes!" Akiko wailed. "He took my unicorn!" She pointed at one of the older kids who had red hair.

The orphanage teacher sighed. "Will you give Akiko her unicorn back, Otoya?"

"No way!" the kid replied.

"Why not?" the orphanage teacher asked.

"Because, she was hogging all the cookies!"

"If you get a cookie from Akiko, will you please give her the unicorn back?"

"Yes."

The two children did the trade and got what they wanted. They soon started to talk to each other more and became really close. Otoya and Akiko were very sweet to each other and always were the bestest of friends. Even though he was five years older than her.

~After another 5 years~

"Otoya, why do you have to leave me?" Akiko asked.

"I'm going to miss you, too," he replied. "But I really want to follow my dream of becoming an idol. I will still come and visit you and we can write letters to each other."

"When you reach your dream of becoming an idol, I will definitely reach my dream of becoming a doctor." she said. "I will become a famous world renowned doctor and find my parents."

~Now to the present~

Dear Otoya,
I can't believe it has been 2 years since you entered Saotome Academy and debuted. I wanted to tell you that I have decided to take a Jumpstart on my career as a doctor. I have decided to skip a couple of years in school and skip to high school. I have decided I should get the best education possible and take the Ouran Academy honor student test. I know what you are thinking "How are you planning to skip your second and third years of middle school." Well, I had talked to the chairman and he told me it is not a problem if I get the scholarship because they are looking for exceptional students anyway. Anyway, I am excited for you about joining the master course the the Saotome Agency. I hope you still come to the annual bazaar thus year.

Akiko's POV
It is my first day at Ouran Academy. My name is Akiko. I don't know my last name because I am an orphan. I was left at the door of an orphanage. In that basket, I was left in was also a note from my parents saying that if I become successful I might be able to find them again. So, I decided to become a doctor.

Anyways, back to my first day.

I headed to the chairman's office to pick up my schedule. There I saw another student. It was probably the other honor student, because, like me, she (he?) was not wearing a uniform. I walked up to her (him?). "Hi! Nice to meet you I am Akiko. Who are you?"

"I am Haruhi Fujioka. Nice to meet you," the other student replied.

"Not to be rude, but are you a boy," I asked.

"Well I guess I kind of look like one, huh?" Fujioka replied. "But no I am a girl."

"Sorry," I say.

"Don't worry about it," she said. "By the way, you look kind of young to be an honor student."

"Well..." the bell had cut you off. "Oh well time to get to class. I'll tell you later. Just out of curiosity, what class are you in?"

"1-A."

"Me too."

"Let's go to class together."

"OK." The two of you become fast friends.

~Skipping over classes and going straight to after school~

"Hey Akiko!" Haruhi called out.

"Yes, Haruhi," I replied.

"Do you want to stay after school and study with me?" she asked.

"Sure, why not?" I said.

"This school has 4 libraries... " Haruhi started.

"... And not a single one is quiet," I finished.

Haruhi had started to whisper something about her mom. I heard, " 10 years... In heaven...." I realized, " Haruhi is your mom dead?"

"Yeah, but don't worry about it, it has been a while now."

The two of you come across an abandoned music room. You both look at each other and push open the doors. Flower petals fly out and you hear, "Welcome..."
