Akiko's POV
I have been practicing really hard for the Utapri Awards whenever I can. The president told me that I should keep it a secret from the guys that I'm performing as the opening act to surprise them. Not even Quartet Night knows that I'm performing for the Utapri awards. Everyone just thinks that when I'm practicing it is just for my upcoming concert. My concert is the day right before the Utapri Awards. My concert is on a Friday, while the awards are on the Saturday after. It is still another 2 weeks until then, so for now I am just practicing.
Today is Saturday, and I have no jobs today. I plan on getting in some more practice today. Everyone had already left for their jobs, so I had the dorms to myself. It was 6 in the morning and I still hadn't had breakfast yet, and I was hungry. I headed down to the kitchen and realized that most of our ingredients were running low. Maybe I'll just go get some breakfast at the cafe, and then go grocery shopping, I thought to myself. It was a good idea, so I went to put on my disguise and left the place. I was walking down the side walk when I felt someone grab me.
"Target-"
"Captured." two voices said. I couldn't recognize these voices. It didn't sound like the Hitachin twins. The two people threw me into a limo, and in the limo I found Haruhi.
"Hey Haruhi," I said nervously. "Where are we?"
"I have no idea, but I recognize these girls from Lobelia Academy," Haruhi replied.
"What would they want with us?" I asked.
"I have absolutely no idea," Haruhi answered. "I was just planning on going to the supermarket today."
The limo halted in front of a large school. Which I assumed was Lobelia Academy. The girls dragged us inside and told us that they wanted one of us to play the heroine of some play. Haruhi automatically TRIED to leave. Then, the girl, Benio, starting telling us the story about her mother. It was obvious she was acting because I am a fellow actor and I can tell that she is acting. Although, she is not the greatest actor.
"So which one of you ladies will be playing the lead roll?" she asked.
"I have had my time in the spotlight, you can take this one," I offered Haruhi, I was definitely not acting in this play.
"No way! You know how to act and sing. I am hopeless. Maybe you could just me in the background," Haruhi cried.
"Wait a second Benio," one of the girls said. "Don't you recognize this young girl. She is the idol that debuted a couple of months ago."
"Oh that is right! That means she must the be the face of our play," Benio exclaimed. "But I have an even better idea. We can have both girls play the main role by letting each girl do a different scene. Then both maidens will get their spotlight."
"I couldn't think of a better idea, Benio!" another girl said.
"Let us get to practicing your roles fair maidens!" Benio cried.
-Time Skip to Practice-
I was waiting near one of the windows watching Haruhi practicing the death scene. No offense, but Haruhi is a terrible actor. She sounds like a robot. Oh well, the others are going with it, so I shouldn't complain. They learned that Haruhi couldn't sing either, so she lip-syncs some of the songs, while I sing the other songs. I was getting bored and scanning the room for something to do, and then I noticed something. The Host Club and Rank were standing outside and watching through the window. I sneaked out of the practice room and went outside to confront them.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked, startling them.
"Well, we were visiting Haruhi, but her father told us that she wasn't there and we went looking for her, and we found you and we were watching to practice," the twins said in perfect unison.
"Why are you here?" I inquired.
"We didn't want to see you guys get hurt by the Lobelia girls," they replied.
"Whatever, I gotta get inside for practice," I said and left. I came back into the practice room while Haruhi was lip-syncing a song. After she sings that song, I am supposed to come on stage and sing another song. Then the play soon comes to an end.
-Time Skip to After the Performance-
"I was supposed to have a relaxing Saturday going to the supermarket," Haruhi complained.
"I feel your pain Haruhi," I replied. "I was supposed to stay home and practice, but I realized we were running low on food, so I went out grocery shopping, then those weirdos captured me."
"They have as much subtlety as the Host Club," Haruhi muttered.
"You got that right," I agreed. "Speaking of concert, I have tickets for all of you." The Host Club had been walking in front of us this whole time.
"You didn't have to do that," Haruhi said.
"Of course I did you all are my friends," I assured her. "Plus, I have extra tickets for you guys if you want to bring your families along with you. Don't forget to ask, even if your family doesn't have a great relationship, OK? You should use this as a night to spend some quality time with you parents. Also, I have tickets for the Utapri Awards as well. This takes place a day after my concert. I hope you guys can come to both. Lastly, nobody knows that I am performing at the Utapri Awards so please keep your mouth shut. Oh no! Look at the time, I have to go to the supermarket and then go back to the dorms and cook dinner! Bye guys! See you in school on Monday!"
I ran off. I quickly bought the things I needed, then headed back to the dorms. Ai_kun got mad at me for not practicing on my day off, and told me to hurry up and cook dinner. I quickly made a pot of curry and everyone ate it. When I got to my room, I was so tired I went to bed before I could even change out of my clothes.
