Akiko's POV
So, it has been two days since the Host Club has found out about my situation. I wouldn't call it a situation, though, since it is not all that bad, but whatever. I am on my way home from school, and I stopped by the grocery store to pick up some treats for the younger kids at the orphanage. I buy them all sorts of sweet stuff and toys whenever I can, because I know some of the kids can be a little unstable when they miss their family. So, I arrive at the orphanage to be greeted with many different smiling faces of all the kids at the orphanage. That is what I love about living in this orphanage, all the kids are always so happy, no matter what their past was like. "Hey everyone," I announced getting their attention. "I brought snacks!" All the kids ran up to me trying to get some. "Don't worry there is enough for all of you," I assured.
"Akiko," I heard a voice say. I turned around to see the orphanage teacher.
"Yes," I replied to her.
"You shouldn't be spending all of your money on buying snacks for the kids, you know."
"I don't really mind, though."
"Akiko, you're as sweet as ever," she said smiling. "By the way, a letter came in for you."
"Really," I exclaimed. "Is it from Otoya?"
"Yes, it came yesterday, but you got home so late and I forgot to give it to you this morning."
"It's OK," I said with a smile. She gave me the letter and I opened it and starting reading. I can't believe what I am reading. Otoya asked if he could come see my school next week, and he wants to bring Starish with him. I have always wanted to meet Starish. Wait a second, he talks about me to Starish! I am flattered but at the same time I am freaked out. Oh well. I would love them to come, but I should ask if it would be OK for them to come and visit on such short notice. Time to make a couple of phone calls.
I had called the school to see if it was OK to have some people come and visit the school. At first they said no, but then they had asked who it was. I told them it was Starish and their composer and they immediately said yes. I guess that is just good for their business if they had popular idols come and visit their school. I guess that is how the rich world works. Next, it is time for my phone call with Otoya. I pick up the phone and dialed his number. It started to ring.
"Hello." Well, this did not sound like Otoya's voice. It sounded much lower than his voice. I was confused, I'm pretty sure I dialed the right number. "Who is this?" the voice asked.
"Umm.... Is Otoya there?" I asked. "It is his (referring back to his letter) childhood friend, Akiko."
"Oh OK, Otoya has told me a lot about you," the voice said. "By the way not to alarm you, but I am his roommate."
Could it be....?
"It is Ichinose Tokiya," Wow, imagine that. I am talking on the phone with one of the Starish members. "Otoya will be right back, he went to go and get some snacks, because he was hungry. Oh there he is now. Bye, it was nice talking to you." That was cool, I got to talk to one of the Starish members. Well, besides Otoya of course.
"Hello." Otoya's voice brought me back to reality.
"Hi, Otoya," I replied. "I got great news. Guess what?"
"What is it?" he asked.
"My school said it was fine for you and Starish and Nanami to come and visit my school next week."
"Really! That was really nice of your school to let us come like that."
"Well, funny story actually." I told about how they had said no at first, but had changed their minds when I mentioned who was coming. "I guess they just want to be the ones to say a group of idols had visited their school. You know how that business works."
