Chapter 18

Papyrus' POV:

I WOKE UP AT ABOUT 5:30, THAT'S USUALLY WHEN I GET UP BECAUSE UNDYNE EXPECTS ME AT HER PLACE BY 7. I WENT DOWN THE HALL TO SANS' ROOM AND OPENED THE DOOR. SANS WAS STILL ASLEEP BUT (Y/N) WAS UP AND BRUSHING HER HAIR. I WHISPERED SO I WOULDN'T WAKE SANS.

"GOOD MORNING (Y/N), WE LEAVE FOR UNDYNES IN AN HOUR AND 20 MINUTES!"

"Alright, thank you Papy!"

I CLOSED THE DOOR AND WENT TO GO GET FLOWEY SO WE COULD MAKE BREAKFAST TOGETHER. LATELY I'VE BEEN LETTING HIM HELP ME COOK, HE SEEMS VERY INTERESTED IN IT!

Your POV:

You looked in your bag and found your white ripped jeans and a T-shirt, you were going to wear your armor over to Undynes but you would put it on just before you left. Sans woke up while you were putting your socks on.

"Morning sans!"

"Mornin' princess, you ready for today?"

"Yes! I'm so excited!"

"Good, 'cause I'm not!"

"Oh lighten up sans! I'll be fine, I'll have you and some of my powers if I need them!"

"Ya, I guess you're right. I'm gonna head downstairs and have breakfast, come down whenever you're ready."

You nodded and waved to him as he walked into the hall and closed the door. You sat down on his bed and took a deep breath, you closed your eyes and concentrated.

"Hey...uh, weird lady that lives in my head?"

"Yes (y/n)?"

"Today is kinda important for me, so I'd appreciate it if you'd leave me alone."

"Don't you worry dear, I know what's happening today! You're going to meet Undyne, I used know her ya know."

"Really? In what way? Enemies? Friends? Frenemies?"

"Oh, nothing like that....she used to babysit my child."

"Wait, hang on! You're telling me, you used to be alive?"

"Right-o dear! I'm a spirit of sorts, I can communicate with people through dream and thought."

"Ok, now I'm a little freaked out! Could you please just leave me alone today?"

"Ugh, fine whatever! Just remember, I'm always watching!"

You opened your eyes and your body shook, you felt a chill run down your spine. You stood up and went downstairs to get sans and papyrus.

"Hey sans, I'm ready to go when you are!"

"ARE YOU SURE YOU STILL WANT TO DO THIS?"

"Positive papyrus!"

"ALRIGHT, ITS NOT LIKE THERE WAS ANY GETTING OUT OF THIS ANYWAYS."

"I'm almost ready, how 'bout you go put your armor on so that we don't have to worry about that while were tryin' to leave?"

"Sure thing sans!"

You skipped off towards the door.

Sans' POV:

To be honest, I still wasn't entirely ok with (y/n) doin' this. I mean, Undyne is a trained warrior, and (y/n).....needs a lot more practice. So many things could go wrong today! Undyne could kill her because she's half human, her powers could go haywire and Undyne could take it as a threat and attack, or worse. I didn't want to think about anything like that, I mean, we haven't even left the house and I'm already jumping to conclusions! I was lost in thought when papyrus started waving a hand in front of my face, I didn't respond to him. But then he smacked me up the side of the head.
