Your POV:
It was morning, about 3am to be exact. You woke up to the sound of glass shattering. You looked beside you and sans was still asleep, so you poked him and tried to wake him up, but no avail. He just rolled over leaving you enough room to get up, so you decided to go see if papyrus would wake up and investigate the noise. When you opened his door you saw him half on his bed and half on the floor, his feet were on his pillow and his head on the ground. You giggled slightly and went over to him.
"Papyrus?" You whispered. No answer. You sighed and left the room, closing the door behind you.
You created a ghaster blaster beside you as you walked down the stairs. As you reached the bottom you saw a trail of broken glass shards leading towards the kitchen. You slowly made your way towards the kitchen without stepping on any glass and stopped at the entrance, you heard something, it sounded like....humming? You peaked around the corner to find the one and only.....METTATON?!
"Mettaton? What are you doing here? Its 3 in the morning!!!" You whisper yelled.
"Oh, good morning darling! Sorry for being so noisy! I was just making breakfast." He replied in a hushed tone.
"But....you still haven't told me WHY you're here."
"Oh, well I got a message from Undyne that I'm supposed to escort you to her place and help train you!"
You stared at him for a few seconds. "AT THREE IN THE FRICKING MORNING?!!!!" You whisper screamed.
"Oh.....right, humans and other monsters need that thing called "sleep". So sorry for the rude awakening!" He apologized.
"Its ok, just wait in the living room until everyone wakes up. I'm going back to bed." You said while sleepily walling back upstairs.
You grabbed two sticky notes and wrote the same thing on them both.
Mettaton is in the living room, he's here to take me [(y/n)] to Undynes. Please don't kill him when you wake up. Sincerely, (y/n).
"Well, that should do it!" You said to yourself. You stuck one to each of the skeletons heads and went back to sleep.
Happy dream time!!!
You were 7 years old and your mother was sitting in the garden with you, braiding little bits of your hair.
"Mommy, can you tell me a story?" You asked.
"Of course! Anything for you my little flower!" She said and continued braiding.
"Once upon a time there was a girl. She was very beautiful and loved by all. One day she came across a forest, it looked so magical to her, she just had to go in! So, she walked through the trees, ducking under branches and hopping over logs. But what she didn't realize, was that she was lost. She continued walking, venturing too far into the dark. She was so curious that it didn't even matter that she couldn't remember the way back, so she went further and further and further still....until a twig snapped!"
"Oh no! What's going to happen?!" You asked getting worried.
"Don't worry, you'll see, she'll be fine! Now, she turned around and saw a wolf, staring at her with glowing red eyes! 'H-hello Mr wolf, I'm lost. Could you help me?' She asked. 'Of course, follow me.' He replied. The little girl started walking with him and eventually came upon a cave. 'Mr wolf, I thought you were bringing me home?' She asked. 'You never said to bring you home...you said that you were lost and wanted help! So I'm gonna help you...INTO MY MOUTH!!!' He growled. She turned around and ran as fast as she could. Soon enough she lost the wolf and found her mother looking for her. 'Oh my poor little girl! Are you alright?' Her mother asked, hugging her. 'Yes mother, but a wolf tried to eat me! I only asked him for help.' 'My dear, you should never trust a wolf. They only want one thing in the end....to help themselves.' She said to the girl."
"Mommy, that was a horrible story!" You said.
"Oh but (y/n)! It has an important lesson!"
"Don't talk to strangers?"
"No, the lesson I was trying to get across was that even when someone offers to help you and always be there for you....don't trust them. They'll always turn on you in the end. If I'm there to help you and guide you, then I will. Always trust me, because mother knows best!" She said and booped your nose.
"MOM!!!" You woke up and yelled. You looked at the clock, it was 8:30. Sans was already up and downstairs.
"Well....that was certainly odd. I don't seem to- WAIT! The girl was me and the wolf was...everyone here?....no, it was sans. But how could mom have foretold we would end up together? She wants me to trust her? But...not sans? Is she lying or telling the truth??? UGGGHHHH!" You faceplanted onto the bed. "ITS TOO EARLY TO THINK!!!" You yelled into the pillow.
"(Y/n)? You ok?" Sans said as he opened the door.
"Yup! I'm just peachy!" You said with sarcasm in your voice.
"Let me guess? Too early?"
"Yes, yes it is. Can I have food?"
"Sure, paps just made French toast. He's been really into French food lately."
You giggled. "What next? Seafood?"
You both giggled and went downstairs. Mettaton was waiting on the couch and pap was is the kitchen.
"Morning (y/n)!" Flowey- er.. Asriel said sitting on the table.
"Morning uncle. How was your day with Alphys?" You asked.
"Oh, it was good. We saw you on Mettatons show, you did great!!!"
"Thanks, but all I did was tell the truth."
"And that's exactly what you need to do! If you keep that up, then you'll have the whole underground on your side!" He cheered.
"Thanks, but I think I'll take things one step at a time....starting with breakfast!!!"
