After pacing down the street ten billion times I decided to go home. The only disadvantage of that is Jacob.
I walked to my house while my feet made squishy noises all the way there. Did I mention I fell into a puddle?
When I got into the house I saw Linda engrossed into some cooking show but as soon as I walked in she turned it off.
"Holy, what happened to you?" She said while gawking at my appearence.
"I swam in the ocean" I said sarcastically.
"no need to talk fresh" She stated.
"no need to barge into my life and marry my dad but oh look you did" I shot back.
"Honey you can't keep your dad from seeing someone, he needs to be happy"
"So what about me? I guess I don't deserve happiness"
"you do" She added quickly
"well then leave" To tell you the truth this shocked me more then her.
"l-leave?" She stutterd.
"yeah and bring your son with you"
"Jacob?"
"yeah Jacob he pretty much ruined every-thing" I said while getting choked up.
"How?" She said clearly oblivious.
"Don't act so oblivious, you set him up so that I will actually like you guys"
She furrowed her brows making tears rushed down my muddy face.
"I'm going to take a shower now" I left and she let me. Figures
I turn the corner to see Jacob spying on me ?!
"How much did you hear?" I choke out.
He ignored me.
"How much?!" I screamed.
"Enough to know that you think I truly don't like you"
I nodded my head.
"Thats not true. I like you Nicole. No I love you and it makes my heart hurt when you don't see that"
"then why did you kiss her?"
"Skylar?"
"yeah 'Skylar' unless there are other girls you kissed and didn't tell" I scoffed.
"No she kissed me and no, no one else"
"I find that hard to believe"
"Your unbelievable" he laughed harshly.
"Excuse me?"
"what do you want me to do?! How can I make you believe me?"
"You can't"
"well that doesn't seem fair"
"story of my life" I stated in monotone and rushed into my room.
