"You're not a mistake y'know" Jacob said sliding into the seat next to me.

Everyone was already gone after an hour of saying their sorry's my dad finally let everyone leave. I decided to take a seat in the empty bus which was supposed to take us to our wedding destination.

I let my fingers clutch the seats arm rest. I laughed "If you haven't noticed I just destroyed a wedding"

"We destroyed a wedding" He said correcting me. He laced his fingers through my empty hand and gave it a reassuring pump.

"What's going to happen to us…" I choked out.

He paused for a moment before saying "Nothing. Absolutley nothing" He said kissing my cheek. "You worry too much"

I laugh "you just noticed that?"

"maybe" he laughs causing me to laugh.

"Can't believe Dex was here" He said causing me to stop laughing.

"Yea that was a bit odd since afterall you did break his-" I then stabbed my finger jokingly into his leg.

"Hey, hey, hey! listen miss accusing diva"

"accusing diva?" I giggled.

"yea you heard me" He said scootig his face closer to mine his breath catches into my nose and I cringe.

"Did you brush your teeth today? Cause your breath reeks!"

"If you're trying to get my face away from you it is failing" He said inching his face closer.

"Legitly did you eat broccoli or something?" I said holding my nose.

It was all in an instant his face collided with mine and we kissed, his lips found mine and we kissed like never before.

"I love you Nicole…" Jacob said as we catch our breaths. Our heads were pressed together so I felt his warm breath against my neck.

"I love you too Jacob" I say laughing.

He smiled goofily "Why are you laughing? I'm a bit offended"

"No it's just-" I started to crack up, laughing so much my chest hurt and my eyes were filled with water.

"it's just what?" he asked stiffling out a laugh.

"It's just I love you too much… I love you a whole lot Jacob Prescott you have no idea"

He chuckled. "I think I have the slightest bit of an idea"

and then we kissed again till we heared two voices coming toward the bus.

Lisa and my dad.

I pull Jacob under and we duck into our seats.

"So why did you call it off?" My dad asked sounding confused.

"I caught Jacob and Nicole kiss and I think they are dating"

"You can't just make assumptions like that Lisa"

"It's not an assumption Jacob admited to it"

My dad sighed. "So why did you call it off?" my dad asked again.

"Well, they can't date" Lisa says causing me to cringe. Jacob finds my hand and gives it another reassuring pump.

"Why not?"

"People will start talking"

"So what? We will find a way to ignore it, If they like each other then why should they?"

"It's not right they will be siblings soon"

"step-siblings" My dad corrected.

"Its the same damn thing!" Lisa screamed outragously.

"no it's not, they are not related it's just over a ring-"

Lisa interrupted.

"Oh so it's just a ring right? we're not really married…"

"Lisa I didn't mean it like that"

"Maybe we shouldn't get married…"

"Lisa" my dad said softly.

I heard quick footsteps and a slam to the bus seat. Lisa must've left and my dad must of punched the bus seat.

The pain started rushing in, my heart sped like crazy and my palms filled with sweat.

The weddings off.

There might not even be another wedding.

All because I fell in love with my stepbrother.

I thought it would work out.

We thought it would work out.

It didn't.

It never will…

I needed to go, I needed to leave but my dad was still on the bus.

Jacob and I waited until we heard the bus engine turn on. And another guy grunted causing me and Jacob to shift in our uncomfortable postitions.

"Can you take this bus back? It seems like we won't be using it"

"sure thing Greg, get better man" The guy said and I heard a smack. The guy was probably patting my dads back.

Then my dad was out of the bus and the bus moved forward.

I glanced at Jacob scaredly. He held onto me tightly.

Crap, we are stuck on the bus. Going who knows where.
