God do I hate Mondays.

Even though it's summer break it still is dreadful.

My dad and Jacobs mom head off to work leaving him with me.

God I hate him.

At Apple Bees everyone was staring at me. Like they know my life.

I quickly buried my head in Dex's shoulder.

"Dex why are they staring at me?" I asked in a muffled voice since my face was on his shirt.

But he didn't say anything... Just smiled.

"Surprise!" Someone yelled behind me.

I turn around to see my dad, Lisa, and... Jacob?

I instantly blushed and muttered to Dex "what are they doing here"

Dex was about to answer but was interrupted by Jacob "what do you think? We're here to celebrate your birthday if that's okay with you?"

I instantly blushed.

"Well... I... I... y-yeaaah of course" I said stuttering.

Jacob wrapped his arm around my shoulder and I instantly felt happy... God I missed him.

Even though he kissed Skylar, I think he was telling the truth when he said she kissed him not vice versa.

"I missed you..." I said snuggling up to Jacob.

He smirked "does that mean we're cool?"

"Don't push it" I said laughing.

Jacob took the hint that we're cool and instantly kissed my cheek.

Leaving a wet tingly feeling on my cheek.

When I was going to ask him what that was for he turned around and walked away. Leaving me even more flustered and clueless.

It wasn't until ten minutes later when I realized, it was what I did back in May.

And now I know how he felt.
