As soon as I woke up I knew I had a plan.
A plan to show Jacob I am more then just a comeback.
After doing my little routine I headed downstairs for breakfest. My heart spun when I see Jacob already down their with a blueberry poptart.
"Hey, Nicole" Jacob yawned.
"Why did you get me a dog?"
"what?"
"why did you get me a boy dog if you don't want another guy in my life?"
"because I couldn't get a girl"
"why's that?"
"I only want one girl in my life and that girl is you"
I blushed instantly yet held my ground. "Okay cool" I said grabbing a poptart.
"okay cool?" Jacob repeated me.
"Yeah, I gotta go to the animal shelter now but it was fun chatting with you" I couldn't let his talk get to me, not now when I have a plan.

"Mind walking Rex with me?" Chase asked as he attached the leash to Rex's collar.
"Sure" I said as I smiled lightly.
When we got outside Rex instantly stopped to pee in the grass causing us to holt.
"So how's Lucky?" Chase asked.
"She's okay" I mumble. "um, can I ask you something?"
"yeah, sure" He smiles when I asked.
"um, did you pick Lucky or did Jacob?" This question has been bothering me for a while.
Now it was his turn to mumble. "I did"
I gulped, so Jacob never really apologized, he just took a dog.
"um, one more question… was his name Lucky before?"
"y-yes"
A tear falls down my face as I run to the nearest park bench. I sit down as I stare at the concrete. When I heard footsteps coming I lifted my head to see a ruged blonde hair boy… Chase.
"Hey" He says slowly as he sits down next to me on the bench.
"Hey…" I mumble as I stare at my feet.
He wraps an arm around me and I allow it. I allow the tears to fall as he caresses me.
"Jacob's an ass" He states as he holds me so I can see his face and only his face.
His eyes were a deep blue like the ocean and for a second I was paralysed. For a second…
He leans in and I quickly back away.
"I'm sorry I just thought"
"you just thought what? That I'm easy"
I cry out.
"no, I never said that"
"I gotta go" I said as I jogged away, what has become of me?
