"Uhm...hey," Josh said looking up at Tyler. He gave a small smile as Tyler took his place across from Josh.

Fuck. He looked at Josh. He had to admit the boy was cute but Josh looked hella straight.

Tyler smiled. "Hello Josh...how are you?" Tyler asks the simple question yet a million things run through Josh's mind.
Horrible. Bad. Depressed. Suicidal. Anxious.
"Uh I'm good...how about you?" He said simply.
"Good," Tyler gave that smile that made Josh weak.
"That's nice," Josh nodded looking away.
"So I was wondering do you want to like...hang out sometime?" Tyler asked.
Stop thinking he wants something more. He doesn't. Josh's thoughts were everywhere. Tyler had a girlfriend and Josh was admittedly getting a bit jealous by it. He had saw them making out the other day and somehow it still got to Josh. Why the hell why he so fucking worried about it was Josh's only question to himself. Where the hell was his mind at.

"Uh...yeah sure...I'm free whenever," Josh muttered nodding towards Tyler.
Before Tyler could say anything else Jenna walked up to the booth.

"Hey baby," she said.
"Hey," Tyler responded looking towards her.
Jenna pushed Tyler further into the booth and scooted in next to him. She kissed him before grabbing his hand and standing.

She flashed Josh a fake smile and dragged Tyler away with her.

Josh sighed as he went back to sitting in silence. He ran his fingers through his hair. Jenna was clingy as shit and very greedy. She stayed with Tyler because she was thirsty for popularity. She wanted to be known.
That was it.
Her whole game plan.
Yet Tyler couldn't see this behind the warm kisses and heart warming nick names. He thought nothing much of their relationship, Josh could tell.

Tyler just wanted a girl to kiss, cuddle, and fuck with. Jenna completed those needs so she could get her own desire.

Their relationship is built off greed and it was pretty easy to see.

Josh got up before the bell and walked out of the cafeteria. He pushed out the front doors, not caring who saw.

Tyler smiled and excused himself from the table. He walked back to the booth only to see Josh at the doors of the cafeteria. He watched Josh leave the cafeteria.
He shrugged deciding to follow the boy. He saw him walk out the front doors of the school and for some odd reason Tyler followed suit.

He walked out the door behind him and bit his lip. Tyler didn't know why he followed Josh.

Josh spun around hearing the door shut and footsteps follow.
"Uhm...hi..?" Josh said staring it as a question once he saw it was Tyler behind him.

"Yeah hey...sorry I followed," Tyler sighed giving a weak smile.
"I can go back I guess..," Tyler said beginning to turn around.

Josh lightly grabbed his shoulder to spin him forward to face him.
"Nah it's ok...I was just gonna get some food..if you wanna come with you can," Josh said locking his eyes back on the ground.
"Yeah sure," Tyler said with a smile that Josh didn't see.
Josh looked up and forced a smile. He started down the stairs of the school with Tyler following right beside him.

"So where are we going?" Tyler asks cracking a smile. He felt happier around Josh. He felt the same way he felt when he first met Jenna. It was weird.

Josh laughs. "Some local cafe," He says as he continued to walk.

"Wait weren't you hanging with Jenna?" Josh blurted out of curiosity.
Tyler sighed and nodded. "Yeah but she's always dragging me around...I feel like we kinda lost our spark or whatever," he shrugged.

"You gonna break up with her?" Josh asks biting his lip. "Sorry for being nosy," Josh mutters.

He gives a quiet laugh. "Not sure yet but I would be lying if I said I didn't think about it," he says. His voice didn't show much emotion so Josh couldn't decipher how he was feeling.

They arrive at the cafe and Josh holds the door for Tyler.
"Thanks," Josh says as he walks through the door.

Tyler nods with a smile as they stepped in line.

Josh runs his hands through his hair letting out a shaky sigh.

Tyler looked over at him. Well more like stared at him. Josh was completely clueless and didn't notice Tyler.

His thoughts were abruptly stopped as they reached the front of the line.

"What can I get you two?" A young woman asks. A bright smile adorned her face as she asked the question.

Tyler ordered first then Josh did. Josh paid for it and led the way to a table for them.

"You didn't have to pay dude," Tyler says as he sat down in the seat across from Josh.
"Nah it's ok don't worry about it," Josh nods with a slight smile.

Tyler felt something was a bit off. Josh seemed more...anxious?

"You ok?" Tyler asks as he noticed that Josh's left thigh was shaking.

Josh became self aware and tried to stop it.
"Uh yeah just nervous is all...I've always been in public places...for a while now at least," Josh explains.

"Oh why?"

"No reason in particular," Josh shrugs off the question. Obviously there was more to it but Josh was far from ready to explain it.
