Chapter 7

April's POV

As we lifted in to the air, I took a look at the place I used to call home. I would never see it again. I felt tears creeping up, but I fought them back, not wanting anybody to see me cry.

"Hey, its gonna be okay." a voice whispered beside me. I look over and saw Delilah sitting next to me. She must of saw me holding in the tears.

"Thanks." I said with a small smile.

"We should be there in about five minutes!" Liam said over the roaring sound of the helicopter.

"Already?" I asked him.

"Well it is one of the fastest helicopters in the country!" Woah.

The rest of the time I just look out of my window. The view is so beautiful. The sun was peaking out of the could and made the sky pinkish purple with orange. I barely even noticed we were descending until we were about 30 feet in the air.

"We're here!" said Niall.

"Where are we exactly?" I asked the blonde boy.

"We're not far away from the Halo Building. About a mile away from it." he replied.

"Ugh, do we have to walk there?" said Natela.

"Nah, we're gonna wait 'till Christmas and hitch a ride with Santa." said Louis. "Use your brain blondie."

"Ha-ha-ha." she said sarcastically.

"Wait, we're meeting Kate here. We have to wait for her." Harry told us.

Kate?

"Ughhh." Natela and Delilah said in unison.

"Guys shut up she's not that bad." Harry said to the girls.

"Who's Kate?" I asked.

"She's ,ermm, my girlfriend." said Harry.

Girlfriend? Since when does he have a girlfriend? I'm overreacting, why do I care that he has a girlfriend? I don't.....right?

"Oh." I squeaked quietly.

"She's a total bitch!" said Delilah.

"Come on, you guys have known her for a long time, you should not be so negative about her." Louis said.

"Don't take her side in this!" said his girlfriend.

"There she is!" shouted Liam, pointing in the air to another helicopter.

As I watched the helicopter land, I was nervous. Was this girl really as much of a bitch as Delilah said?

Literally 5 seconds after it landed, a beautiful girl with long black hair jumped out, running in to Harry's arms.

"I've missed you so much!" she exclaimed.

"I've missed you too." he whispered.

"Eh hem. We don't have all day." said Natela.

"Shut up." said Harry, turning to me afterward. "April, meet Kate. Kate, this is April."

"Umm, hi?" I offer.

"Not very smart is she? We can still use her as our human shield! Haha." Kate said to Harry while basically climbing him.

Was that a joke?

"Okay everybody!" Harry said, turning away. "This way to the Halo building."

As soon as Harry turned away Kate smirked at me and gave me the finger.
