April's POV
I jolt awake at four in the morning to a resounding crash beside my bed.
"Shit!"
I look over and see Delilah sprawled on the floor by my bedside.
"You okay?" I ask, extending my arm to help her up.
"Yeah." She muttered. "Everything but my dignity. How did I fall off the damn bed." I giggle softly, but end up sounding like a dying frog so I stop.
Instead of climbing back up to her bunk she sits beside me on mine. She pulls some of the covers up around her waist.
I sigh.
"You okay? Did I hurt you?" She asks.
I just shake my head.
"So. Spill what's wrong." She says, clearly intrigued.
"Nothing." I almost whisper. She gives me a stern look and says
"That's complete and utter bullshit." I sigh.
"Well I guess what's wrong is that I-" I'm cut off when she holds up a finger and gets off the bed, bolting the door shut, and throwing a flashlight at Natela.
"Get the hell up Nat." She says when Natela begins to whine about the flashlight. "April's telling us a story."
"Well.... Liam.... um...."
"Liam what!" Delilah and Natela shouted at me in unison.
"He, confessed his love for me in the woods." I say slowly. Natela gasps.
"What did you say?" Delilah questions in shock.
"I honestly told him that I don't have feelings for him." I bury my face in my pillow. "Am I a bad person for breaking his heart?"
"No! I mean, come on April. You just got out of a bad relationship, you just got into this assassin business, and Liam is forcing himself onto you. That isn't fair." Natela reminds me.
"Why don't we train to get your mind off of it? We can go out into the woods and by the river. Learn some new stuff." Delilah says, getting up and brushing her hair into a ponytail. I nod and get up.
"Um.... I don't have any clothes." I state.
Natela passes me a pair of black skinnies and a green t-shirt. They retrieve some cool looking weapons from a secret compartment in the wall that I had not noticed before.
Natela held a long spear with a firm wooden shaft and a sharp metal tip. She had added a few stripes on it and some feathers to make it look cool. Delilah had an authentic wooden bow and some arrows with metal points and wooden shafts. They had the feathers of a thrasher on the back.
"What weapons do I use?" I ask.
"You're fast, you'll be good at up-close combat. Use these." Delilah produced a pair of dagger and placed them in my hands. I ran my palm over the blade, producing a small cut on my hand.
"Oops."
They laugh and I awkwardly follow them out. When we get out of the room and into the kitchen, Natela warns me to be quiet.
Of course, I stub my toe and fall flat on my face.
"Ouch! Dammit!"
Natela sends me a withering glare while Delilah chuckles. I get up and exit quickly, ready to go out and learn.

Harry's POV
I was running. I don't know why, but everything was fogging up and I couldn't see. The earth slowly began to turn to mush beneath my feet, and began to swallow me up. In desperation, I clung to a root of a tree and pulled upward. The seething ground held fast. A warm liquid began to seep through my clothing, and I looked down.
