Y/n POV:
A baby's cry filled the dark room, making me sit up in bed. I ran my hands over my face, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. The bed shifted beside me, as Aaron's dark hair emerged from the blankets. He looked at me, and I gave him a small smile. He leaned towards me, pressing a light, sleepy kiss on my lips.
"I got it." He said sliding out of bed. His freckled bare back crossed the length of the bedroom, before leaning over the small crib. "Hey princess." He whispered, as he lifted her out of the crib. He placed her against his chest, as he leaned over again and grabbed her favorite stuffed animal. A small white, lop bunny. She whimpered, kicking her footsie covered feet. I smiled. He walked back over to the bed, and sat down cross legged. He held her in his hands, as he bounced her softly.
Aaron wasn't the father. But no one could have guess that, because of the way he looked at Lily. He loved her as if she was his. The real father wasn't ready for a family, so he left me. I met Aaron when I was 4 months pregnant. We fell in love at hello, and he's been by my side ever since.
I leaned over and pressed kisses on her cheek, as her crying slowed. As I leaned away, Aaron swooped his head down to her. Making funny noises, and kissing her face. She squealed, kicking her legs. Aaron laughed.
"There's our happy girl!" He said, as he pretended to eat her tummy. She let out a fit of squeals, as I watched Aaron play with her. I leaned my head on his shoulder.
"I love you." I say softly as he started to rock her back to sleep. Her big eyes watched him, before they drooped close. He looked at me with soft eyes, before leaning forward and passionately kissing me.
"I love you too." He said, as he pressed our foreheads together. The moment was perfect as we closed our eyes, leaning against eachother.
"I don't know what I'd do without you." I said softly.
"You will NEVER find out too." He said, rubbing his nose with mine. He pulled away and stood up, taking our baby back to her crib. He softly set her down, then turned around and ran back into bed.
He took me into his arms, and looked deeply into my eyes. He took in a shaky breath, and smiled.
"I have to ask you something." He said, sitting on his knees.
"What is it?" I say, sitting across from him. He took in a deep breath, before he reached into his sweats pocket. My hands shot to my mouth, as a velvet box appeared in his hand.
"Y/n?" He said trying to calm down his nerves. He took another breath. "Will you please be mine forever?" He said, opening the box. My gaze moved from the ring to his eyes. I shook my head furiously.
"Yes! Yes!" I said, smiling like a maniac. Aaron sighed in relief, and took the ring from the box. He slid it on my finger, letting a tear roll down his cheek. He grinned as he wrapped his arms around me, tackling me down on the bed. I laughed as he straddled me. I pulled his head down and smashed his lips on mine.
"I *kiss* Love *kiss* You *kiss* So *kiss, kiss* Much *kiss*." He said, over and over as he took my lips in his. His kisses getting slower and more passionate with each word. I tried to say it back, but his lips didn't give me the chance. My fingers laced in his soft hair, as his arms held me close.
"A-Aaron." I try and say around his lips. He hummed in response. I pulled away, looking into his eyes.
"This might sound weird.." I say, laughing lightly.
"I like weird." He said, smiling as he kissed my cheek.
"She has your last name." I say just above a whisper. Aaron's eyes gave me a look on confusion, before they widened.
"W-What?" He said as his eyes glossed over. I took a deep breath.
"Lilly Marie Carpenter." I say. I watched his eyes fill with tears.
"She's been mine this whole time?" He said in a small sob. Tears rolling down his soft cheeks. I nod.
"I p-put your name on her birth certificate." I say, as a tear of my own runs over my temple. Aaron's smile widened as he cried. He jumped off of me, and ran over to the crib. He took her gently into his arms, looking over her as his bottom lip trembled. His breath was shaky as he leaned down and kissed her forehead.
"Now I really am your daddy." He said quietly, as he held her closer to him. I smiled, as tears rolled down my face. He looked back to me, and grinned behind his tears. "I love both of you so much." He said, as he walked over to me. Finishing his sentance with a passionate kiss on my lips.
