Y/n POV:

"Are you ready?" Aaron says holding my hand as we waited in the car, in our drive way. He rubbed his thumb softly over my knuckles, as I nodded. We smiled at each other as we both got out, and shut the doors softly behind us.

I opened the door to the back seat, revealing a little car seat. Aaron stood by my side as I unbuckled the seat, and gently lifted it out of the car. I carefully handed it to Aaron's gentle, waiting hands. Then reached back into the car, grabbing our bags.

"Ok, I think that's it." I say smiling. Aaron grinned as he held the seat, carrying it as if it were made of glass. We walked up the steps to our front door, and walked in.

Aaron backed into the door slowly, closing it silently. I set the bags down at the foot of the stairs, and followed Aaron to the couch. He set the seat down of the coffee table, and scooted it as close to us as he could get it. He lifted up the blanket and stared in awe at our little newborn.

"There's my little man." He said softly, as he adjusted the handle backwards. I smiled, and placed a kiss on Aaron's cheek. I leaned forward and unbuckled him. I slide my hands under him and lifted up, turning his small body sideways. Aaron quickly grabbed his little baby blue blanket, and put in on my lap. I laid him down on the blanket wrapped him loosely in it. I leaned down, and left soft kisses on his cheeks. He gave us a small smile, and let out a little squeak.

"Can I hold him?" Aaron said as he held out his arms.

"Yeah." I say giving him one more kiss before handing him to his daddy. Aaron's large hands cradled him, as he kissed his little nose.

"Hey bud," Aaron said quietly. "I'm your daddy." He gave us another smile and let out a soft grunt.

"I think he recognizes your voice." I say leaning my head on Aaron's shoulder.

"Do you remember when I would talk to you in mommy's tummy?" He said softly to him. I smiled, as memories came back to me.

~ Flashback ~

I lay on the couch, holding my belly as I started to drift off to sleep. I heard someone open the garage door, and then smooth footsteps walk down the hall. I felt someone lay down by my side, and gently rub patterns on my big belly.

"Hey little buddy." Aaron said softly. "How's it going in there?" He said as he placed a kiss on my belly. "I can't wait till I can see you. You're going to be such sweet boy with the best mommy there ever was."

I smiled, and ran my fingers through Aaron's hair.

"And the best daddy." I say, as he rubs his thumb over the spot our little baby was stretching his foot.

"I hope you have your mommy's eyes," He said quietly. "She has beautiful eyes." He said looking up at me.

"I hope you have your daddy's smile and freckles." I say holding Aaron's face in my hands, stroking his bag under his eyes.

"Either way you'll be perfect." He said falling closing his eyes and falling asleep around my belly.

~ End of Flashback ~

Aaron brought him to his chest, and he curled up against him. His little footsy covered feet crossed over one another, as he snuggled into Aaron's warm chest.

"I love this already." Aaron said looking down at him.

"Me too." I say giving Aaron a gentle kiss, and then kissing our little ones' forehead.

"Can we lay down?" Aaron said.

"Yeah," I say. "Here." I say as I move the pillows to the end of the couch. Aaron slowly laid down flat, while I moved the car seat to the floor. I carefully squeezed in between Aaron's side and the back of the couch, facing our little baby boy. Aaron brought his arm around me, and then placed it back on his little back.

"This is perfect." Aaron said as he closed his eyes. I kissed his chest, and rubbed my thumb over our baby's hand. His tiny fingers curled around it, and he let out another grunt. I kissed his little hand, and snuggled into Aaron's chest.

"We love you Anthony James Carpenter."

Heller! I totally got the feels writing this. Should I make a PART 2? <3
