Aaron's POV:
I rubbed my hand over my face, slowly opening my heavy eyes. I sat up, and I looked blankly around the room, before my eyes caught the warm lump beside me.
I smiled, leaning over and kissing her soft cheek as I wrapped my arm around her waist. She moved, turning over onto her back.
I rubbed my thumb over her cheekbone, gazing down at her. I kissed her lightly on her sleepy lips before pulling away.
"Good morning."

I fixed my beanie on my head, and picked up my shoes. Sitting softly on the edge of the bed, as I tied them.
The room finally lighting up from the morning sun. When I had finished, I stood up and walked to my nightstand.
I grabbed my wallet, and unplugged my phone from its charger, putting both in my pocket.
I hated leaving in the morning. Coming home late to sleep with my baby, then leaving again before she would wake up. It killed me to say my one sided goodbyes, and kiss her only once for the whole day.
I put my knees on the bed, as I leaned over her again. My hands on either side of her body, her soft breathing making her chest rise and fall slowly.
I leaned down, putting my cheek against hers. Closing my eyes, as I took a deep breath. Her smell filling my nose, and warm skin begging me to stay.
I kissed her cheek slowly. "I love you." I whisper. She stirred, and I kissed her cheek again.
I slowly pushed myself away from her, forcing myself to slip off the bed. Looking at her one more time, before closing the bedroom door.

I tapped my fingers on my chair, bouncing my leg as I watched the clock on the wall.
I sat at a long table, surrounded by lawyers and mangers. All of them rambling on and on about my career, every now and then making me sign something.
Oh how glamorous the life of Aaron Carpenter. I was just here to be here, I really think they sometimes forget I'm actually a person too. Not some alien whose life is amazing to look at through the internet.
I looked down in my lap, and pulled my phone out of my pocket. I clicked the power button, checking the time. But the numbers blurred as I looked at my wallpaper instead.
Y/n.
The picture was taken on our wedding day. We were slow dancing as family and friends danced happily around us. The look in our eyes, telling nothing else but how much we loved each other.
I frowned, as another clip board was pushed into my lap. Covering my phone, and my happy moment. I turned it off, and clicked the pen before signing he paper.
- 9 hours later -
"Aaron!" My manager smiled, patting me on my back. "Come celebrate with us!" He said, reaching into his pocket and grabbing his keys.
I licked my lips, thinking over my options. "Come on! You've worked so hard. I won't see you till next month, let's go get something to eat. My treat!"
He moved to usher me out of the room, when I stopped in my tracks. He turned giving me a weird look.
"Thank you," I say sincerely. "But I have somewhere else I need to be."
"Where?" He chuckled.
"I have a different way I want to celebrate." I say, patting his back. "With my wife." I smile, before running out of the building.
The rain pounded on the ground without mercy as I ran through the dark parking lot. I found my car, and hopped into it quickly.
I turned the key, and backed out of the parking space. My hair soaked and dripping over my forehead, and down the back of my neck.

"Y/n?!" I yelled, running up the stairs. My voice excited as I took the steps two at a time. I heard a door open, and she appeared from inside the bedroom door.
She smiled, running into my arms. I lifted her up, wrapping her legs around my waist as I buried my head into her neck. She giggled, holding me back and running her fingers through my wet hair.
I pulled away, and smashed my lips on hers. Kissing her hard, as I pinned her against the wall of the hallway.
"I've been waiting for that all day." I mumble. She laughed.
"Me too." She smiled. I smiled back, before playfully kissing her face. Making her giggle and squirm in my arms.
"I'm glad you're home." She sighed.
"Me too." I say setting her down, and pressing my lips to hers again. "I'm glad I'm with you."
