I dropped my purse by my front door. Gosh I hate my job. I walked over to the kitchen and pored myself a glass of water and rubbed my shoulders, rolling my neck. I closed my eyes and my ears caught the sound of soft singing, and it seemed to be coming from upstairs...

I ran upstairs and the singing was more clear, I closed my eyes and focused on the sound. I recognised the lyrics and tune, my favorite love song. I walked towards my room and the music got louder. I opened the door and I saw my boyfriend, Aaron Carpenter.

He sat on my bed in a light grey suit with a black pencil thin tie, holding a pink rose in his hand. The room was lit up with candles scattered all around, white and pink rose petals were carefully placed everywhere. The song played softly in the background, and Aaron smiled as I met his eyes again.

"Hey babygirl." Aaron said standing up and walking towards me. I smiled as he picked up my right hand and kissed my nuckles softly. All my worries of the day washed away and were forgotten.

"Aaron what is all this for?" I said snuggling into his chest as he embraced me.

"I have something to ask you..." He said letting go of me, and slid down onto one knee. I gasped and placed my hands over my mouth. "Y/n I fell in love with you the second I saw your beautiful smile. I know we are still young, but every minute I am with you I fall deeper in love with you. And right now my love is uncontainable. I love you with all my heart and strength, and I need to have you in my life always. You are the girl of my dreams. I promise to always love you and cherish you until the stars stop shining. So Y/n, will you please make me the happiest man to ever live and become my wife?"

I was crying by the time he finished.

"Yes! Yes! I love you! Forever yes!" I said climbing on top of his lap sitting on his raised leg, my legs on ether sides of his leg. I hugged him, burying my face in his neck. He held me tight, and released a quite sigh. I pulled back and kissed his lips, he smiled into the kiss. I pulled my face back to look at his face, tears of joy ran down his cheeks, his smile wider than ever. With me still on his leg, he pulled out a velvet black box from his pocket. His opened in and showed me the ring, it was perfect. It was silver and had a beautiful diamond in the middle with two smaller diamonds on ether side. He turned it over, showing me the engraving on the inside.

I grinned and looked back up at Aaron, tears were still rolling down our faces as he slid the ring onto my finger. When it was on, he pulled me in and kissed me with so much emotion we both melted under eachothers touch. We pulled away and he took my hand and we laid down on my bed, facing eachother, looking into eachothers eyes. We studied eachothers faces, then he placed his hand on the side of my face and kissed my forhead sweetly.

"I love you." I said looking up at him.

"I love you too." He said as I snuggled into his chest, taking in his amazing scent. We then slowly began to fall asleep in eachothers arms, as the candles slowly burned out.
