Y/n's POV:
"Y/n?" I heard someone whisper outside my window. My sleepy mind shook it off, and snuggled farther into my warm bed.
Tick.
Tick.
"Y/n." I heard them say again. I sat up and ran my fingers through my hair, licking my lips. I slowly slid out of bed, then walked over to the window. It was already half open, but I pushed the rest of it up and stuck my head out. I smiled as I saw who was waiting for me on the ground.
"Hey there beautiful." Aaron said playing with the stings of his hoodie.
"Hi." I say leaning my arms on the windowsill and feeling the cool breeze blow through my hair. "What are you doing here?" I say quietly, making sure no one in my house heard me.
"I came to get my girl." Aaron said pointing to me.
"Why?" I say smiling.
"I want to go on an adventure with you." He said stepping closer to the house. "Jump, I'll catch you." He says holding his arms out and smiling at me. I smile back at him as I disappear to go and lock my bedroom door then slip on my shoes.
I arrived back to the window, and swung my legs out, sitting down on the rim. Aaron grinned and wiggled his fingers, wanting me to be jump to him. I laughed to myself, before pushing off.
I fell against the cool air, my hair dancing in the wind. All time seemed to stop as I fell. Fireflies gracefully waltzed in the sky, as the wet grass sparkled like little sequins on a blanket of velvet. Then I was pulled away from the wind, into a warm pair of arms.
"Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone..." I whispered as I gazed into his eyes, lacing my fingers through his hair.
"As you wish." He said pressing his lips on mine.
He held me close to him, as he kissed my cheek. I smiled widely, showering his face with kisses. He laughed, and carried me off the wet grass. His checkered Vans turned a darker color as the wet blades brushed against them, making his gentlemanly efforts more heartwarming.
"Where are we going to go?" I say pressing my forehead to his cheek.
"Everywhere." He said set my down on the asphalt road, then taking my hand. "Come on." He said, pulling me into a run. We ran hand in hand down the empty road, our breaths leaving behind clouds of smoke. Our running slowed into a walk, as we crossed a street. I laughed at how rebellious we were being and looked over at him, admiring his figure. He caught my glance, and smiled at me.
"What are you thinking about?" He said swinging his arm around my shoulders, and kissing my temple. I smiled to myself.
"I'm thinking about how lucky I am to have you." I say shyly. His face softened.
"Aww." He said with a small smile. "But let me just tell you, I'm the real lucky one here."
"Aww." I say blushing.
"It's true." He said giving me a quick hug and a kiss on my nose. We continued to walk together down the dimly lit streets together, enjoying the emptiness and privacy it gave us. I snuggled into him, and sighed to myself.
As I was about to say something, he pulled me into an alley and smashed his lips on mine. He pushed me against the brick wall, and kissed me like never before. My heart pounded like a drum against his chest, as I felt his rising and falling chest against mine. He lifted me up, wrapping my legs around him. My cold fingers griped onto his hoodie, pulling him to me.
Moments like this remind me of why I fell in love with him. We share the truest love together. One heart. Two breaths. One story.
He pulled away, spreading out his kisses. We both struggle to catch our breaths, before his pink lips spread into a smile.
"I want to show you something." He said grinning. I nodded and he set me down, then pulled me down the alley. He went ahead of me, still hold my hand behind him. I looked up at the starry sky between the space of the two brick buildings.
Aaron pulled me up to a metal fire escape, and ran up the stairs. Once we reached the top, my mouth fell open and my eyes grew. Aaron let go of my hand, and spun around the space of the roof top with his arms extended towards the sky. Over the rooftop you could see the millions of city lights in the distance, and above my eyes caught a shooting star.
My smile grew wider and wider, as I took in everything. Aaron laughed, and I focused my gaze on him. I ran to him, and jumped into his arms. He lost balance and fell to the ground, while pulling me down with him. I smashed my lips on his, taking him be surprise. He smiled into the kiss, making me smile too.
"We should do this more often, if this is what I get out of you." He said smirking. I pulled away, and leaned my head into his chest.
"My Juliet." He said tightening his grip on me, as he trailed kisses on my hand that I had laid on his heart. I smiled and tilted my head up, kissing under his jaw. Sighing contently as I fell asleep on his warm chest. But just as I felt myself fall asleep, I heard Aaron whisper in my ear.
So gather all the rebels now, we'll rebel-rouse and sing aloud.
We don't care what they say no way, no way.
And we will leave the empty chairs to those who say we can't sit there.
We're fine all by ourselves.
So hey, we brought our drum and this is how we dance.
"Good night my little wild thing." He whispered as he hummed the rest of the song.
