"I WOULD like to state to whoever is keeping notes on this whole situation, that I hate motorcycles and only did this as a hobby with Bella, so the fact you're both going to test this to see if it works and then ride it, I do not condone this." Dove stated.

"You came with Bella and offered to help fix them with us." Jacob pointed out.

"Yeah well, I wouldn't have if I knew missus over here would actually want to ride it afterwards." Dove thought back to the stunt Bella pulled back at Port Angeles. Jacob grinned over at her, before stopping and looking between the two of them.

"If I told you both that I couldn't fix this bike, what would you have said?" He questioned them both. Dove just shrugged at first.

"If you really told me that you couldn't fix this bike, I would say that's really too bad, but the three of us are just gonna have to find something else to do." Bella said, looking towards her friend and cousin. She looked over to a cliff, noticing someone, "Is that Sam Uley?" She questioned and Jacob and Dove looked over to what she was talking about.

"Yea, him and his cult." He said, Dove frowned at the word cult, she had read on other things within that book that Bella got so long ago, she had a idea on what he meant by the world 'cult'.

"Oh my God!" Bella exclaimed as she watched him fall into the water, "Did you see that?" She said, looking over to Dove.

"They're not really fighting Bella," Jacob stated, "They're cliff diving. Scary as hell, but a total rush." He said and Dove looked over to Bella with a worried look. She knew this was going to end up somewhere really stupid.

"A rush?" Bella mumbled.

Dove leaned over to her, whispering almost harshly. "I'm not watching you throw yourself off a cliff to 'see' Edward, that I will draw a line at and probably tell Charlie." Dove frowned, "Please don't."

Bella just nodded, and the girls listened to Jacob once more.

"Most of us jump from lower down, but leave the showing off to Sam and his decibels."

"You sound really annoyed at the fact they're hanging out or whatever." Dove commented.

"I don't know, they just think they run this place. Embry used to call them hall monitors on steroids, now look at him." Dove furrowed her eyebrows, it had been  2 weeks at most since she last seen Embry.

"That's Embry?" Bella asked, her eyes wide.

"Yeah." Jacob mumbled.

"What happened to him?" Dove asked.

"He missed some school, and now all of us sudden he started following Sam around like a little puppy." Jacob commented, and Dove couldn't help but giggle at the puppy comment, "Same thing happened with Paul and Jared." They watched as another jumped off the cliff, "Sam keeps giving me this look. Like he's waiting for me, or something. Kind of starting to freak me out."

"I think it's something you should keep away from Jacob, wouldn't want you more buff than what you already are." Dove joked, as they all watched the last person jump. The three of them then drove on, past the cliff, and stopped somewhere they, or Bella in this case, could test the motorcycle. Dove watched as Jacob gave her instructions.

"Alright." Jacob smirked, "Break." He stated, placing her hand over the correct handle, "Clutch, okay, gas, okay.. Ready?" He asked Bella, but she seemed to be in a world of her own, and Dove knew she was seeing Edward. Jacob stepped back from Bella and Dove and himself watched as Bella jerkily road on the motorcycle.

"Okay, okay, I wanna go again."

And the motorcycle jerked some more, again and again and again, but then road smoothly. Jacob and Dove watched Bella ride off into the distance. It seemed fine for a while before it looked like Bella had lost control over it.

"Hit the break!" Jacob yelled. The motorcycle tilted a little, but Bella moved herself a little so the bike would completely crush her before she fell to the ground. Dove and Jacob began running towards her, yelling out her name to give them some sort of sign she was alive and moving.

"Bella, oh my God, are you okay?" Dove asked breathlessly as she stared down at Bella, who groaned in pain, but sat up.

"I'm fine." She told the pair of them, but Jacob leaned down and touched a wound on Bella's head.

"Well, you're bleeding pretty bad." He stated, as if the wound wasn't enough, "But other than that you look fine." Dove and Bella watched as Jacob took off his shirt and pressed it to Bella's wound.

"You're sort of beautiful." Bella blurted, causing Dove and Jacob to laugh.

The next day, Dove couldn't help but think of Jasper, no matter how much she tried to focuse in school, currently at lunch with her friends and Bella, but her mind always drifted back off to Jasper, not even the fact that Bella nearly got crushed by a motorcycle even re-directed her thoughts. It was always him, and it made her angry, even a little sad.

"I'm telling you, I saw something in the woods!" Angela exclaimed.

"Totally, baby. I believe you." Eric said, but neither Bella or Dove commented on the situation. But Dove snorted until something came to her mind.

"Sounds like you're trying to get on her good side, Eric, needing a little love?" She teased him. Eric and Mike laughed.

"It was jet black, and huge. On all fours, it was taller than a person." Angela described, then narrowed her eyes, "A bear, maybe?"

"Could be." Dove shrugged.

"Or an alien, you're lucky you didn't get probed." Mike joked, wiggling his finger at the girls.

"Well, I saw it." Angela reassured herself.

"You're not the only one." Bella spoke up, "My dad's been getting reports at the station. Like, five hikers have been killed by some bear, but they can't find the bear."

Dove thought back to the first attacks, back before they started dating Edward and Jasper, and something didn't add up.

"Last time you clowns doubt my girlfriend." Eric laughed, but it seemed forced. Dove smiled weakly. Dove then zooned back into her own thoughts, ignoring Mike asking Bella out to the movies and talking about weird movie titles.
