I held the ceramic mug in my left hand and let the hot, almost lava like, liquid run down my hand before setting it down on a clay coaster that had all the ninja's on it. It was pathetic how much I still supported us.
"You were our number one fan, huh?", Jay smiled and pursed his lips on the edge of the cup almost inhaling the brown lava liquid from inside.
I paused and stared at Jay. He said the worst things at the right time. "I guess. I just can't get another job, so I mine as well dwell on the only read job I can ever get", I was filled with the rosey pinky colour. Irritated.
Jay raised his brown eyebrows and rolled his eyes. I never liked him. It was an odd hatred. Not even the dark brick red of bitter. More of a deep purple but lilacly at the same time.
"You could've just said the simple, yeah", Jay set his mug back on the clay coaster and stared at me with so much rosey pink you wouldn't believe it. He was beaming with irritation about my attitude towards his comment.
I rolled my eyes and muttered, "get out". He leaned in for a closer insight on what I said. With all the blood red in my voice I yelled, "get the f' out of my house, Jay". Jay threw his mug down on the ground and it shattered. Small pieces flew everywhere.
"And to think I was going to offer you your job back. Whatever Jon will get it now", he held onto the bronze handle of my black metal door.
I screamed back at him, "Well I didn't even like that job anyway, Cole offered me one at his friends Deli. Debbie is it?". Cole had a cheating situation way back with a girl named Debbie. It crushed Jay.
"Go to a bar you low life. It's the only place for you now", Jay slammed the metal door shut and flipped me off through the peep hole. My body felt weak and beaten.
That was so childish. I'm not a child. I live in my own apartment where I search for jobs online. Pathetic.
That's all I was. I folded my hands together and sat on the ground about one yard away from the shattered ceramic mug.
