POV Lloyd

"Uno!", Kai clapped ecstatically.

"You always win!", I sighed and gave Kai a slight chuckle.

He pouted and scooted over towards where I was on the couch, "You are notorious for ending the game early. Keep playing and maybe I won't win. Stop mopping in the deep, royal blue and man up!".

Kai's hand enveloped over mine and pushed my cards down onto my chest. He brushed the blonde hair out of my face to gently place his soft hand on the side of my cheek and kiss my lips ever so gently. A melancholy feeling build up inside of me and I was relieved to have such a great person like Kai around to take care of me. His lips pulled back from mine and he stared into my dark eyes. Kai was sweet, he had a certain tamed kind of temper about him, but was sweet all-in-all.

"Cha don't say", I laid down a draw four card and snickered to myself at the exasperated face that Kai had made.

"You never take it easy on me, huh Green Guy?".

"Never".

"You never take it easy on me, huh Green Guy?", my eyes wandered across the blank walls, "never", my chapped lips stuck together.

The interrogator sat in his comfier metal chair and stared into my eyes. I didn't like it, that was something that Kai used to do with me. We'd gaze into each other's brilliant eyes for hours on end, but nothing good ever lasts. Eventually, the buzzing lime green would dip into the never-ending, deep lake of brick red blood.

"You didn't know Kai?", he tapped his foot on the hard, cold, cracked, cement floor of the interrogation room.

"I never knew him".

"I'll never know the real you if you keep moping around drunk and indecisive! Just tell me who you are! I need to know who you are! I need to know you!".

"I need to know you", I whispered under my breathe.

"You know what, Kai, maybe this is it! If you can't even tell me your last name then why even try anymore? All I wanted was to know who you are and make this work. I was way too wrapped up in the unconditional love that you gave for a certain period of time. It was like a calm before the storm".

"I never knew who Kai really was", I bit down, placing as much pressure as I could, breaking the skin almost, on my chapped bottom lip.

The interrogator shook his head in pure disgust and threw his hands up in exasperated blood red, anger. He looked as if he was going to throw a huge fit like an elementary schooler.

"Stop playing games, Lloyd Garmadon! This is going straight to court! There should be no justice for such a mad man like you, Lloyd!", he picked up his leather briefcase and stormed out of the interrogation metal, cold, lonely, room.

"Fuck you, Lloyd".

"Fuck me? Just- just leave me alone!".

"You only think about yourself, stop only thinking about yourself".

"You self-centered nobody!", I hit Kai's abs and sobbed at his knees, he just took the hits and let me fall to his feet.

"You're gonna be okay", he softly rubbed my arched back.

You're gonna be okay.
