My phone gave off a settle buzz. I looked down at it and it read 'Jerk'. It was Kai. I picked it up and looked down at the bright screen.

My hands shakily turned the bronze metal handle to my slick black door. As soon as I opened the door, there he was. Black. He was black? Emotionless.

"I was expecting a lime green celebration", My words were crisp.

"And I was expecting to be a ninja again", Kai had a blank expression on his face.

"Fair", I left the door open as I stormed out beaming a florescent red.

Anger.

This wasn't how I expected our meeting to be. I slammed the door shut and Kai sprawled out on my black leather couch.

"You're married?", I choked pointing to his wedding band on his wedding finger.

"Ah, no.. Well, there's this girl.. Um actually it's for a job.. It's a long story but I still love you, Lloyd", Kai smiled and pulled me towards him on the couch.

I smirked and giggled as he tickled my sides like a Father and child. That's gross to think of. Actually never mind, he just tickled my abdomen.

"So who is she?", I laughed as I cuddled with Kai. It was just like before New Years.

"Eh..", Kai fiddled with his leather jacket, "it's LillyAnne. She's from Sweden or something".

I stared at Kai's dimples as he smiled and lit a cigarette. "You don't know where she's from and you're married to her?!", I laughed from that thought.

"I've got to piss be right back", he pushed up off the couch and ran down the hall to the bathroom, leaving his leather jacket with me.

I slid his blackberry phone into my hands and copied down LillyAnne's number into my phone. My fingers tapped the scroll button and I scrolled through their messages. Nothing worth investigating. It was mostly about money and drugs.

"Hey L", he pulled the phone out of my small hands.

"Listen Kai I'm so sorry I never meant to.. I swear I trust you.. I'm so plum purple with my choices", I sank into my seat and hid almost from Kai.

Kai just stared at me and spoke softly, "I missed how cute you are, how you think I'm always such a blood red at you.. I'm not untrustworthy even though I've been to prison.. You can trust me I swear".

My body felt weightless as he picked me up bridal style and spun me around like silk or churning butter. I smiled at his bright green face and giggled a bit from him spinning me into silk.
