POV Kai's

This is for the lions living in the wiry broke down frames of my friends bodies; I listened in on Lloyd's speakers blare music, as he covered his ears and tried not to listen in the mental breakdown I was having outside his door.

Opening the door, I muttered, "there's thin walls", under my light breath.

"Or there's just loud people", Lloyd stood up and shut off his music, pulling on a shirt and some khaki jeans.

Or there's just loud people, I thought about. My fingers pressed on my right elbow, which was pulsing with pain.

"Lloyd", my voice began to get hoarse, "can you drop me off at like a hotel or-", I was cut off.

"You can stay here. Everyone deserves a second chance".

My eyes felt watery as I stared at Lloyd cry. He just wanted a normal relationship and life. He just wanted the best for both himself and I. Though I couldn't say the same, I felt his pain and agony. He strived to just have a little fun here and there, but become normal. All Lloyd needed was a base foundation for his life that just was being built off of from everything he does.

You see Lloyd wanted everything to be perfect. Lloyd is blind to the fucking world. He's never had to pull the bullshit card on anything he's ever done. Unlike the most of us, Lloyd's positive that he's a fucking perfect prodigy guy.

"You're blind", I spoke soft covering Lloyd's eyes, "you only see black and white, you haven't seen in between. The answers
are all in between the lines", I took my hands away from Lloyd's eyes.

Lloyd stood laughing, with a shirt half on. He's always gotten what he's wanted, except for me.

"Fuck all you're thoughts and fuck all your calls. Fuck all your clothing and fuck all your furniture. Fuck all your ungodly words.
Fuck all your dip shit plans", I gritted my
teeth together with a cigarette in as well. My voice now changed to harsh and cold.

"W-well", Lloyd tried to compute what I spoke.

"You're a hopeless fucking creature we call 'human'", I was angry.

Lloyd paused and closed his eyes, "then
what the fuck are you?".

"A mofo".

My stance was proud and tensed as Lloyd glanced at my mouth purse and drop my cigarette into my hand, burning a little red hole. It was in the center of my right palm.
