I awoke in my small ninja decorated room. My bed covers still too small and the bed frame uncomfortably tight. It was a small confined space and extremely uncomfortable. Kai lay still next to me. He had his leather jacket on still and his black boots, which I had told him politely to take off at the door, still on too.
I grabbed my phone in shock to see four messages from Jay. They all were urgent sounding.
Jay: Dude don't trust Kai! He's bad new!

Jay: Lloyd you've got to listen! He's been to prison don't trust a man that's been in prison and has over ten drug dealers!
Delivered, 8:24am
Jay: Lloyd I'm only protecting you! He's changed since before New Year's!

Jay: This is complete bs! I'm trying to help your sorry ass but you're still stubborn
about yesterday!

The word, drug, stood out to me in his second text. They weren't for him. He didn't do that kind of stuff. Kai just sold them for double the price once he bought them.
"Your phone kept buzzing all this morning and last night", Kai spoke softly, not opening his eyes or moving at all.
I swallowed and laughed, then said, "sorry, it was just Jay".
That woke Kai up. He jolted up and laughed. The morning due attacked my windows and
all my plants outside.
"You talk to Jay still?!", Kai laughed and lit a cigarette.
"Yeah and please don't smoke inside", I quickly and angrily responded to Kai.
Kai turned a transparent red and left the apartment.
"Bye Lloyd, see you around", He placed his hand on the bronze door knob and left me alone in my boxers, stranded in my own flat.
The sticky note of LillyAnne's number still lay on my stainless steal faucet. I had stuck it onto the handle of the faucet. My hands wrapped around the baby yellow sticky part of the note and held it shakily as I typed in the number into my phone. I added her as a contact and starting typing words I didn't even know.
Unknown number: Hi! It's great to talk to you, LillyAnne! I love that name! You don't know me yet but oh, you will soon enough! I'm Kai's actual lover! You're just a pathetic excuse for a "wife"! Sorry bby but Kai loves me!
