POV Kai's
The amatory feeling between his small blonde hair body and cocky ways, did not reside there amongst us anymore. I wasn't sad, or happy about it. Just silent. We sat on his couch silent. Being completely broke and just getting out of jail, I hadn't any money to spend or a house to live in. Lloyd not-so-happily-also-kinda-happy invited me to stay with him, just out of courtesy of being a good person. Whilst the taste of his lips still lingers on my mind, I decided to scroll through my old text messages in hopes to take my mind off of him being close against me. This action saddens me as I seek out cuddly, soft messages between him and I from several years ago.
"I do that too", Lloyd's voice was a hoarse whisper, angelic almost like it was descending from the heavens.
"What?", I growled.
Lloyd laughed softly before replying a soft, "look through our old messages and acting like we've just sent them to each other".
"I don't miss you", my voice was stiff and tense as I addressed the cheeky boy, "I never have. For all I care, you could've just left me in that jail cell. I didn't want out of there, I didn't want this", I gestured to around the room with my larger hands, compared to Lloyd's at least.
His facial expressions killed me. The way his eyebrows knit together when frustrated. I didn't want him though, not at all. All that I wanted was for him to be at least a bit happy with someone that lived up to his petty standards.
If you ask me, he basically would be alone forever. Maybe it's better that way. Lloyd has a tendency to destroy everything he gets his crumby little hands on. He was filthy evil in most people's eyes that lived in the apartment complex.
Lloyd was filthy evil in my eyes as well.
