Did you think I didn't remember you?

Three years later

I opened the door as carefully as I could to my bosses office. I had all his messages in one hand and his coffee in the other. He was on the phone, so I silently put the papers and coffee down in front of him and turned to leave, but he snapped and got my attention, telling me to stay. I waited patiently as he finished his call.

"Miss. Daughtry, I wanted to let you know that today is the day the CEO's son will be coming in to the office."

"Yes sir, I remember you telling me last week. I have already set everything up so it is perfect for him to walk in."

My Boss, Mr. Pitillo, nodded with a small smile. "I should have known that you would do something like this. Always on top of everything. I will trust his arrival and tour to you then."

"Don't worry, I will take care of everything." I gave him a reassuring smiling and left when he nodded, ending the conversation.

I worked as an intern at CjJ entertainment, a huge music producing company. I got this job after two and a half years of business and managing school and small music classes on the side. I have always loved music, singing mostly. Not in front of people though. Ha! I got this job mostly because of my step mom. She was one of the makeup and hair stylists for the stars that this place manages.

I pushed my glasses up my nose as I made sure my desk was in place. Despite having these glasses for almost five years now, they still worked great.

I sat down, putting my feet low on the floor. I started checking things off on my list. I was a direct assistant to Mr. Pitillo. He was second command around here. He was basically in charge most of the time. This was the main firm, but the real CEO was always out and about doing business elsewhere.

I was just about to pull out my phone when the front door opened. I jerked my eyes up. This must be his son. I thought, moving to stand. I looked up, halfway out of my seat I got a look at the boys face. He dressed sharply and had his hands lightly in his pockets. Slightly styled light brown hair that fell over his forehead, cat brown eyes. Cat eyes... Oh. Oh fuck!

I didn't recognize him at first since his hair was slightly lighter, and his body was more toned and grown. His face didn't have that slight hint of baby that it used to. His eyes were the same though.

I almost tripped as I quickly ducked behind my desk. I saw Mr. Patillos feet walk out of his office to greet Jeon Jungkook.

Damnit I am stupid I should have known. I knew his dad was the CEO when I first joined, I don't know why it didn't occur to me that when Mr. Pitillo said son he meant this son. Oh god, what was I going to do? He probably wouldn't recognize me anyway, I should just great him like I would anyone else. Pretend I don't know him. But how could I pretend I didn't know the man I have planned out many "accidental" deaths for? I'll crawl to the fire stairs. That was the only option.

I got on my hands and knees and started crawling. I did my best, staying behind desks and peoples legs. I was almost to the door when Mr. Pitillo saw me.

"There she is! Umm... Miss. Daughtry, what are you doing?"

Crap. I froze as I thought of what to say as everyone's eyes were on me. I suddenly ripped my glasses off and chucked them in front of me.

"I dropped my glasses." I said, picking them up again and putting them on. Mr. Pitillo gave me an odd look, but shook it off and looked back at Jungkook.

"Mr. Jeon, this is Drew Daughtry." Oh why did he say my name? Shut up Drew, it's not like he knew it anyway. "She will be showing you around today. You are in very good hands."
