I took in a deep, slow breath as I slowly started to wake up. I knew it was morning, but the sun wasn't shining through the window like it should have been. I yawned, moving to stretch my arms but stopped dead in my tracks as I felt a weight on my hand. I forced my eyes open and jolted at the sight in front of me.

Jungkook was asleep next to me. He was on the clear other side of the bed, but his hand was gently laying on top of mine. I pursed my lips tightly as I felt my heartbeat speed up. He looked different when was asleep, then again so did everyone, but he looked different. He looked younger and softer. Kind of like a kid, but his features were still adult like. I blinked as I watched him sleep, his breath even and his cheeks relaxed.

"Why don't you take a picture?"

I froze at his voice. His eyes slowly fluttered open, looking at me with a sleepy gaze. I didn't know what to do as a slow smile appeared on his lips.

"It'll last longer."

I let out a noise of irritation and sat up, tearing my hand away from his. I blinked a few times as I looked around for my glasses. Jungkook must have noticed, because he leaned behind me, reaching over to the bed stand and handed me my glasses. I took them without saying anything and slipped them on, letting my vision adjust.

I faced the window, seeing why the sun wasn't shining. It was grey outside, the window foggy and wet from the drizzle outside.

"What time is it?" Jungkook rubbed at his eyes, stretching his arms out enough that the blanket fell off his shoulders, revealing his bare chest.

"Uuh..." I quickly looked away, trying to brush it off. "8:10." I said, looking at the clock on the table. "8:10?" I breathed, standing up quickly. "Holy shit i'm so late."

"You work for me, remember?" Jungkook chuckled from his spot on the bed. "I am giving you the day off, you deserve it."

"You can't just-"

"Of course I can." He rolled his eyes, sitting up. "Even if you do go, you will have nothing to do. I'm not going in either."

I pursed my lips tightly as I ran a hand through my hair. I fixed my glasses briefly as I looked out the window. I loved the rain. The smell, the sound, the look of the light.

"You know," Jungkook was suddenly beside me and I forced myself not to look at him. "There is a word for people who like the rain."

"Oh yeah?" I hugged myself tightly, trying to forget the fact that he wasn't wearing a shirt.

"Yeah. Pluviophile."

I snorted out a laugh as I allowed myself to look at him. "No way that's a word."

"It is too." He pulled out his phone. "I'll look it up right now." He scrolled through his phone for a second before clearing his throat awkwardly. "It's not in the dictionary, but that doesn't mean it's not a word. Google says it's a word, so," He shrugged.

I laughed again. "Not being in the dictionary kind of means it's not really a word."

"It's a word." He said confidently.

"Hmm." I nodded, moving out of the room. Jungkook slowly followed, pulling a loose shirt over his head. I found my phone on the kitchen counter and saw I missed nothing. I scrolled through the contacts, looking for the number to call a cab.

"What are you doing?" Jungkook asked.

"Calling a cab so I can go home." I kept my eyes on my phone.

Right as I put it to my ear Jungkook plucked it out of my hands. "I'll take you home."

"Didn't you say if I went to that party with you, you wouldn't offer to give me rides anymore?"
