Chace hung up despite Jungkook still yelling on the other line. He shoved his phone back in place, then pulled on my hands harshly.
"This is your first time doing something like this, isn't it?" I muttered, digging my heals into the floor.
"What makes you say that?" He clenched his jaw from trying to keep me still.
"Oh, no reason." I shrugged, smiling to myself as I kicked down at his knee, causing him to curse and fall to the floor, letting go of me. "Well look at that." I mused. "It worked."
I rushed to the door, jiggling the knob a few times before letting out an irritated sigh. I was going to have to break a window or something. Oh well, at least it would be a cooler exit.
Just as I was about to move, a noise filled my ear that struck fear into my body, freezing every muscle. I slowly turned my head to see Chace pointing a gun directly at me.
"First time doing this, hu?" He cocked an eyebrow as he grinned.
I looked at his hands closely, trying to control my breathing. "You're not going to shoot me. Not for something as stupid as this."
"I wouldn't kill you, no." He titled the gun to the side slightly. "The leg maybe? Or hand?"
I bit down hard on my lip. "I doubt you could aim that well with shaky hands."
He clenched down harder on the gun, taking a step forward. "I didn't want to use this, but you forced my hand. Why couldn't you just coperate?"
"Sure, let me just stand here and do nothing while you kidnap me." I rolled my eyes.
Chace chuckled, taking another step forward. "You've got guts, making jokes at a time like this."
"I feel like jokes and sarcasm are two different things." I pursed my lips, truly thinking about it.
"You better be careful. You're starting to irritate me."
"What do you think i've been trying to do?" I breathed. "When you get really angry and heated, your hand starts shaking more, making it almost impossible for you to shoot that thing anywhere close to a target."
"Why I otta-"
He took another step forward and I moved, diving quickly behind the couch and grabbing one of the lamps. I popped back up and chucked it at him, knocking the gun out of his hands. I silently cheered to myself as I jumped over the couch and ran into the kitchen. I got the window open right when he ran into the room. I slid out and started running. I didn't really plan this far ahead, so I wasn't sure how I was going to get away... maybe if I ran and hid, I could somehow contact Jungkook or the police. I didn't have my phone though... ugh god damnit.
I turned the corner of the house, looking for a place to hide, only to run into something. I blinked a few times as I stumbled back, looking up to only find myself highly disappointed.
"You call this handling it?" Sawyer growled as his brother came into view.
"This really makes sense." I pointed between the two of them.
"I'm not as sensitive as he is, darling." Sawyer barked, grabbing my arms harshly.
I pushed at his chest and brought my leg back, but before it made contact, I was lifted off the ground. He chucked me over his shoulder and started back inside.
"This means I broke your lamp for nothing!" I screeched, punching and kicking, but nothing was loosening this guy's grip.
"I was handling it." Chace muttered.
