I just finished getting everything together on Friday evening when my phone went off.
"Hi Kiki." I answered while stepping out from behind my desk. "Are you close?"
"We are here!" She chimed. "I am calling asking a favor though. We already got in and dropped everything off and Bryce really want's to go out and see the city since he has never been here. I was wondering if we could go out on a date night and we hang tomorrow."
My hand froze at the elevator button. "Just the two of you? Are you sure you won't get lost?"
"We will be just fine. Please Drew? I haven't had any alone time with him since we got here, and he really want's to walk around with me."
You have been here for all of two days. I thought with a light sigh. "Sure, just make sure you are not out too late, and let me know if you need anything."
"Awesome you are the best! Thank you!"
"Yeah," I sighed as I heard the line click dead. "So glad I could third wheel without being there." I muttered, slipping my phone back into my pocket.
"Did you get stood up?"
"Is it convenient that you always show up when I feel like hitting something?" I turned to Jungkook.
He chuckled, leaning on the wall next to me. "I could have told you something like this was going to happen."
"I knew it was." I ran a hand through my hair. "I just thought that maybe she would be decent for once."
"She is in the big city with her boyfriend. I am sure there are many things she wants to do without you. Not that you would understand, seeing as you have never had a boyfriend."
"Shut up." I hit him in the arm. "Whatever, now I can play music really loud and sprain my ankle while dancing on the couch." I said with a shrug, hitting the elevator button.
"Or you could go out with me." He tilted his head.
I choked out a laugh. "I'd rather eat ice cream by myself while watching the Notebook, and I hate that movie."
"Come on, please?" He tugged at my bag. "It is a small little party that I was invited to. I wanted to bring you anyway just so you could get to know everyone there because it will be all important people, but I knew you were going to go out with your sister."
"Shouldn't you bring someone that you can show off to things like that?"
"It will be very good if you come, you can learn some people skills."
"I have people skills." I glared.
"Sure." He nodded sarcastically. "Look, if you come with me tonight, I promise I won't ever offer to drive you home again. Deal?"
I blinked. This bastard, giving me something I couldn't refuse. "Alright." I nodded. "Deal. I should probably change then."
"Do you have something nice enough?"
"Yes." I spat.
"What color?"
"Black." I said, thinking of the dress Chris basically begged me to buy.
"Good." He smiled. "I'll pick you up at seven." The elevator opened and he stepped in, closing the door immediately.
"Fucking jerk." I mumbled.

I curled my hair lightly and put on makeup in one of the many different ways Kylee had shown me. I put on the dress then slipped on the shoes, looking at myself in the mirror. This dress was something that I would have never picked out myself. It tied up over my shoulder, the top starting right at my collar bone. The bottom was loose, but it didn't pop out. The sides were a few inches longer than the middle, and the middle was even shorter than the gold dress. The back was open down to the top of my lower back, but it had a band that went across my shoulder blades, helping it tighten around my chest.
