Jungkook kept his hands in his pocket as he watched the elevator floor numbers go up. It was mid morning, and the cold followed him in from outside sadly. Honestly he would rather still be at home seeing as it was a Saturday morning, but he needed to talk to Taehyung and Jimin face to face.
They knew everything about the situation he was in, he told them every last detail. Of course last night was when he filled them in on what the detective had suggested and they too thought it was a risky idea. There was no talking Drew out of this though, she was head strong on this. If Jungkook was honest with himself, he knew this was their best option, but he would rather drag this out another month then have her in the line of fire.
Jungkook finally reached Taehyung's apartment and didn't even bother knocking. The two were both up and lively, Jimin lingering in the kitchen as Taehyung rested on the couch. Both of their eyes shot up when hearing the door open.
"You're here a lot later than expected." Taehyung sighed, standing from his spot. "I purposefully got up early for you."
Jungkook rolled his eyes. "We all know that you get up early on Saturdays to watch say yes to the dress."
Taehyung huffed out a breath. "Look, it's an entertaining sh- wait hold on," He narrowed his look. "How did you know they were moved from Sundays to Saturday?"
"I have a girlfriend that lives with me, remember?" Jungkook slipped off his shoes by the door.
"Is she actually living with you now?" Jimin asked, leaning on the door frame leading into the kitchen.
"Not permanently." Jungkook shrugged, walking past him and going for the coffee. "But i've been meaning to talk to her about it."
"Tae said she'll reject your offer for at least a month." Jimin said with a snicker. "Don't worry," He added at Jungkook's glare. "I gave you two weeks."
"She's different now." Jungkook spat out. "She actually likes me now you know."
"Oh we know." Taehyung laughed as he too came into the kitchen. "She's still Drew though."
Jungkook snorted out a laugh at that. There was no denying that. There were many times these past few weeks he wanted to bring up the idea of her moving in with him permanently, but he was honestly a little scared. He knew that being who she was, she was bound to reject his first offer, and he didn't want to do anything to make it awkward between the two of them.
"Anyway," Jungkook was snapped out of his thoughts by Jimin. "I don't think that's what you came here to talk about."
Jungkook nodded immediately. "I have a favor to ask."
"Shoot." Taehyung slid up onto the counter.
"I told you the plan they came up with last night." Jungkook leaned back, resting his hands behind him. "And as much as I hate it, it's the only thing we've got right now that will work."
"I'm surprised you're going along with this, with the possibility of her getting hurt and all." Jimin narrowed his look slightly.
"I never said I was okay with it." Jungkook muttered. "But whether I like it or not, Drew is going to go through with it, so might as well protect her best I can. That's where I need your help."
"How so?" Taehyung titled his head.
"I told you everything Detective O'Hiera said last night," Jungkook set his coffee mug down next to him. "She want's to use Drew as bait to get the information, and then get her out before they can really do anything. If O'Hiera uses a police extract team, that means guns and weapons and I don't want Drew around any of that, so I told her the only way I would agree to this is if I am the one to get her out."
