Why not make it a duet?

"Okay." I moved into Chris's room and sat next to him face down on the bed. "You have been pouting around all day, what's wrong?"

He muffled something into the pillow that sounded kind of like "Dine fro tired."

"You're going to have to be a little more specific." I tried not to laugh.

Chris let out an irritated sigh as he propped himself up on his elbows. "I'm so fired!" He cried.

My look softened as I tilted my head. "What happened?"

Chris dropped his head back on the pillow, but this time at least he was facing me so I could hear him. "Colleen asked me to find someone to perform for our Christmas party tonight, and she asked me like two days ago and she was like, Oh, so sorry it's last minute but i'm counting on you! And I didn't find anyone now she's going to fire me."

"Just ask Imani." I shrugged. "I'm sure she-" I bit down on my tongue at the look he gave me. "I totally forgot she was flown to California this morning."

"Yeah, so she's out." Chris rolled his eyes. "And I thought about just asking you to book someone, but Colleen said she wanted someone new, someone no one has ever seen before or some crap like that. Ugh, I hate my life."

I chewed on my bottom lip as I thought about how to help him. "I wish I could do someth-"

He sat up right, startling me enough to almost falling of the bed. "You!" He pointed. "You can sing!"

I snorted out a laugh. "Yeah, good one. You're funny." I blinked as his expression was dead serious. "Chris." I sighed out. "I can't. I can't sing well enough to sing in front of people, and even if I could, I can't sing in front of people."

"Yes you are, you are good enough!" Chris grabbed onto my hand. "Please! Colleen already loves you, so it would be great. Please please! I'd love you forever, i'll do anything you want."

"I'm sorry." I shrugged. "But I actually cannot sing in front of people, it's just not happening." I stood and moved to go out of the room. "If you think of anything else I can do I will gladly help, but I can't do that."

I left and closed the door before he could say anything else. I felt bad, but if I got up in front of that many people, then it really wouldn't sound good, and I felt like not having anyone sing would be better then me trying to.

I was laying on the couch watching some stupid cheesy Hallmark Christmas movie when I heard the door open. Very confused as to who would just walk in without knocking, I propped myself up to find my jaw dropping.

Jungkook stood in the doorway. His hair was styled and he was wearing a dark blue dress shirt that was tucked into black pants. He was even wearing a little makeup I think...

"What-" I started but before I could finish Chris burst out of his room, looking rather nice himself.
