"The number you have dialed is-"
"Ugh." I hung up aggressively, looking down at my phone in anger.
"Voicemail?" Imani called from the kitchen.
"Forth time." I let out a long sigh and left my phone on the table. "He must be busy with something."
"You're normally not like this." Imani came and sat next to me. "Calling him four times? We make fun of girls like that."
"I know." I chewed on my bottom lip. "I guess i'm just a little worried. Last night, I saw him on the phone with someone, and after he hung up, he was antsy the rest of the night, and he dropped me off at home without anything, he didn't even walk me up."
"Oh." Imani raised her eyebrows. "That is odd."
"Tell me about it." I flung my head back onto the couch. "I'm afraid it might be something with his dad. Whenever his dad is involved it get's messy with him."
"I thought you said they were getting better? It wasn't drastic or anything, but Jungkook said he was trying."
"That's what I thought, but-" an idea popped in my head suddenly, getting my eyes to widen. "Maybe I should call Tae, see if he knows anything."
"Who?" Imani made a face.
I waved her off as I grabbed my phone again, dialing his number. I tapped my foot as he picked up on the third ring.
"Hey!"
"Taehyung, do you know where Jungkook is?"
"Hu?" He was taken aback at my sudden outburst.
"I just can't get a hold of him, he's not at work or at home I already checked this morning, he didn't have any meetings scheduled or anything."
"No, I haven't seen or heard anything from him." Taehyung said slowly. "But if you want I can try and figure out. He might be at his dad's house."
"No you don't have to." I breathed out. "You probably had other stuff to do today, don't worry about it."
"Well alright." He said slowly. "You sure?"
"Yeah I'm sure, thanks anyway." I hung up before he could say anything else.
"He didn't know either?" Imani took a sip from whatever was in her cup.
"Nope." I threw my phone back on the desk. "I'm overreacting, i'm sure. He'll call by the end of the day."
I was overreacting a little, but at the same time I was slightly worried. I called him this morning, and then went to work and his house to check if he was there. I called again and then an hour after that. Now it was a little past noon and still nothing.
He'll call I kept saying to myself. Just give him to the end of the day. He's probably at his dad's house, with his phone dead. Calm down.

Jungkook hesitated knocking on the door of his father's office. The hallway was dead quiet as he stood in front of the door, his hand half up. He didn't know why he was so nervous, it must have been the urgency in his father's voice from last night.
He took in one more sharp breath before knocking twice. His father's voice muffled through, telling him to come in. He slipped through the door quietly, locking eyes with his father the moment he stepped in.
"Have a seat." He said curtly.
Jungkook swallowed as he slowly sat down, holding his shoulders with stiffness. His father was finishing up with writing something before looking up at him, leaning on his desk.
