Chapter 5

  Officially freaked out by Harry's strange behavior, I decided to listen to their conversation and only lean against the couch in silence. "We need to think of a plan so that she is never alone and out of sight." "We could take shifts to watch her." "Yes, but we have responsibilities to the world that we can't simply just give up. I mean you are Superman, Louis." Louis nodded and rested his hand on his chin as he thought long and hard. "I won't be able to watch her 24/7 that's why she was locked in her soundproof room for almost her entire life. You two aren't half as busy as I am and would be more likely to change schedules and such than I would."

  I rolled my eyes and let out an exasperated sigh which caused all eyes to be on me. "Don't look at me like that. I don't need a babysitter. I am plenty capable of handling myself." I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned on my right leg. "Sis, you don't understand what we are dealing with here." "Well, do you care to inform me any?" I heard a small chuckle come from Zayn before I sent a glare in his way which made him instantly shut up causing a small smile to tug at my lips.

  "He's a different kind of villain and not your typical kind. This isn't some cliche battle. It is serious brawl outs fought between a superhero gone evil allied with a true villain, and superheroes. Niall is a superhero that went rogue as you could put it. He went bad. He got tired of the goody two shoes life and wanted a taste of the bad side. He went too far and dug too deep. Liam on the other hand is a true villain, but Niall knows a lot of our tricks and has a lot of our superpowers so we don't necessarily have an advantage over him like we would with a regular villain. I am going to protect you with everything I have."

  My eyes were wide and my mind whirled as I felt the room begin to slightly spin. I shook my head, blinking rapidly and swallowed deeply to avoid passing out at a time like this. A superhero gone rogue? I didn't even know that was possible. That is a bigger problem. He has such a big advantage over us, but he is still a villain and will always be defeated. I hope. I believe in my brother don't get me wrong, but a superhero gone bad is just asking for all kinds of trouble and now he apparently has me as his next target.

  I felt eyes burning into me and looked back up to see Harry looking at me like he was earlier. "Stop looking at me like that." I hissed and he dropped his eyesight to the ground, finding the wooden flooring becoming quite interesting.

  I sighed and looked down myself. How could he possibly defeat him? I shouldn't think like that.

  I felt an assuring hand place on my right shoulder making my eyes snap up into dark brown eyes. "Don't worry, babe. The bad guy never gets the girl." He patted it with a smile and sat back down.

I  f that's so true than why do I feel like he will.
