Niall was here. He came to save me. I let a couple happy tears slip out of my eyes and a small smile played at my lips. He came.
Niall was fuming and I could practically see the steam coming out of his ears. He glanced at Kate and back at Liam before staring at me. They were equals.
Niall casually walked up to the man that had abused me earlier. The man looked at him and his cocky smirk dropped as he stared at Niall with slight confusion. Niall punched him directly in the face causing the guy to fall on the floor out of shock. Niall jumped on top of him and punched him repeatedly. Blood pooled under the man's head and littered Niall's skin as he kept beating the now unconscious man. I whimpered in an attempt to stop Niall from this rampage. It caught his attention and his head whipped up as his eyes met mine. I silently pleaded with my eyes that he would just get us all out of here before it was too late. He stood up and wiped his hands against his clothes to try and rid himself of the man's blood but it didn't remove it all.
He knelt in front of me and stared deeply into my eyes. I missed those eyes and it hadn't been very long that I was here. "Let's get you home." I smiled lightly at him and he returned the favor quickly. He wrapped his arm around my waist gently and placed the other under my knees lifting me into the air slowly. I nuzzled my face into the crook of his neck and took a deep breath of his wonderful scent to calm my nerves slightly.
I looked up through my eyelashes to see Liam standing by the door with a passed out Kate in his arms. I'm happy he finally found his equal. Although it will be kind of strange with her being a shifter and all, but I think they can work it out in the end.
I could hear shouting and the echo of feet pounding down the metal staircase. I whimpered and snuggled as far as I could into Niall's arms. He held me against him tightly and he looked at Liam. They both nodded after a silent agreement and bolted towards the window on the far side of the room. Niall set me down momentarily while he pried the window open with inhuman strength. He picked me up gently and lifted me up to the window so I could climb out.
He jumped out of the window with ease and held his hand out for Kate and Liam. He gently helped Kate out of the window and placed her on the ground beside me. She laid unconscious at my feet on the soft grass as Niall hauled Liam out of the dark hole. I heard shouting coming near and began to slightly shake in fear of what was going to happen of we didn't get out of here in time.
Before Niall could turn around and grab me, I felt a hand wrap around my waist and pull me back against a hard chest. A knife went to my throat and an evil chuckle rung through my ears.
